Very satisfying meal. We ordered the spicy chicken, combo, and chicken katsu. Simple and delicious with generous portions.

Super nice lady working and taking orders and the menu was limited to a few items which I kind of liked. Even though the teriyaki had good grill taste it lacked flavor. Didn’t really get enough rice either. Egg rolls are decent but the pricing on everything is very affordable. More of a 3.5 stars.

Very good food! The wait took a bit long (we ordered at the counter and it took ~35 mins) but well worth it. Teriyaki combo was tasty but the Katsu was even better! Will def be coming back again

I am lucky to find this restaurant. I have tried out around 40 teriyaki restaurants. This restaurant has the best chicken teriyaki. Its sauce is just the right amount. Its chicken is so tender and smells good. Beef is good too. I enjoy every bite.

It’s good. A little truer to Japanese Teriyaki than I’m accustomed to. Was super excited to find out the original cook that started Toshi’s was cooking at the Mill Creek location and took the first opportunity I had to try it. Tried the original chicken. Got there a little after 6 and was the last order of the day they were out of food and closed right after me. The chicken is excellent great flavor and not over cooked. The charcoal grilling gave it a nice smokey flavor I liked but my wife thought it was overly smokey. They do a cabbage slaw instead of a simple salad, it’s was good. The sauce is thinner than most but great flavor. Definitely want to try more of the menu, the food was well executed but wasn’t better than many other places.

The beef was the best I’ve had at a teriyaki.

Best teriyaki I’ve ever had. Second time I tried the katsu and was worried it wouldn’t be as good, but it blew me away. My only wish is there was an option for a side of katsu sauce, but they use their teriyaki on it and you honestly don’t need to dip it or will even want to, so it’s not that big of a deal.

I moved from the Mill Creek area over 2 years ago, and one of the things I miss the most is Toshi’s Teriyaki. Yes, you can get good teriyaki throughout the Seattle area, but to get good teriyaki chicken, steak and katsu, you’ve got to come to Toshi’s. Simple plates…but simply amazing!

Be patient, plan your visit well. Place your order then go do your errands. Come back to collect arguably the best Teriyaki in town, a pack full of smoky flavor goodness.
