My cousin and I came across this restaurant recently on our way to a concert at the nearby Prudential Center. I’m glad we had our dinner here because the food is excellent! We both had the BBQ Jerk Chicken Bowl, which was sweet, savory, and nutritious. You can’t see this in the photo, but we were automatically given brown rice in our bowls, which we appreciated. We also had the fruit juices here, and they were refreshing. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who would like a healthier alternative to what’s usually offered at arenas and concert venues.

I got the Caribbean Twist which is brown rice, jerk (actually bbq) chicken, black beans, sweet potatoes, & broccoli. Everything was well seasoned (loved the beans) but not overpowering. With tax it came out to be about $14. I think it’s 100% worth it as the portions were amazing, food tasted great & was served in an orderly fashion. This is a great place to eat if you’re looking for a healthier alternative to Chipotle.

I had the pleasure of having this Salmon tossed salad. I’ve had some good salads in my life, but this right here was EVERYTHING. The dressing topped it off and the portion was perfect. Hefty. The cashier who took my order was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I strongly suggest trying this spot. I know I will be back !

I’ve ordered from here via UberEats. The food here is tasty but they are constantly missing parts of my order. Yesterday, half my meal was missing and the salads came without any of the dressings. Today, same thing! Someone needs to do quality control and make sure orders are complete before sending them out.

This was Fresh and delish and tasted like real food. Good portion I felt like I recieved a real meal. I got the jerk wings and the tossed salmon. Both great mix of sauces not to much sweat or heat. Thanks I been snacking all night at work and not sluggish.

Tried this place out recently. Nice and refreshing to have more healthy options coming to downtown Newark! The food was amazing! 10/10. The portions were very generous. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service. The people working the day I went just didn’t seem to want to be there. Did not expect the service to be that bad. Maybe it was just the day I went. Besides that, food was fantastic like I said. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and are looking for something healthy and fresh.

Food is very flavorful and fresh. The customer service is great. Not sure what the young lady’s name is at the register but she seems to remember my work schedule and always try her best to get me out in a timely fashion, which I appreciate because normally I’m running late.
