Took my parents to eat here because I wanted a good smash burger. Burger was good but it lacked seasoning. The fries were great and a lot too. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the service, but was great I guess it just depends who is there when you go.

It took me a couple of days to write this review. I loved the quality and quantity of the burgers. My issue is the extra charges added to the bill that are NOT posted anywhere in the establishment. They have a credit card use extra charge and they also have a 3% gratuity charge that is NOT posted anywhere! I paid in cash and yet both of those charges we added to my bill. Why are they charging a gratuity bill for 2 people in an establishment where you sit and all they do is bring the food to your table? Why don’t they post that! I am giving them 2 stars for the principal of not being transparent. Is it legal for an eating establishment to have additiona charges without posting them?

I had high expectations but the burger was really dried but it was a chorizo burger and asked medium well and my son was medium but they were dry and it didn’t help that the bread was pretty hard , they need to change the buns or just use fresh buns because stale buns tend to harden faster after getting warmed up . Some seasoning please and the elite for the wings was a miss . The wings themselves were good but that seasoning isn’t it , once again I can tell it was old and the cheese they used was to generic for the loaded fries . Man this place is great overall but for the price it was not worth it . Will give them a try again in the future. Much potential !

My first time there. I heard alot of great things about the Alamo location and we finally had chance to try. It did not disappoint. Burgers were fresh , flavorful. I can’t wait to try out the different burgers. Their desserts look delicious, just didn’t have room lol. Cashier was super friendly and helpful with menu and patient with us for taking our time. Definitely going back

Unimpressed with Tower Burger. Don’t waste your money making your burger into a meal. The fries were soggy and unflavored. Fountain drinks are either out of order or out of stock. “Sweet” tea was actually unsweetened tea + sugar, which does not make sweet tea. Service was good.

At first glance you wonder why you’re even willing to try this burger joint out. Upon entry you realize it’s actually quite pleasant and cozy. The food makes what-a-burger or in and out burger seem like a bunch of amateurs. Food is great from fried pickles to wings and everything in between. Don’t sleep on the brown sugar bourbon home made sauce its definitely finger linking good. 5/5 will definitely be coming back.

This will definitely be another of my husband’s and I lovely places to eat out and chat. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the food is amazing. Enjoyed every bite. First time I try eating mustard and actually liked it (bonus points for that!). 10/10

This place could be the jewel of McAllen if they adjust their menu and some service items. Burgers are good, Fries were super soggy, chili cheese fries were bland, and the cheese sauce ruined them and made soggier. The onion strings were dripping oil and seem to come from a bag. Not a place I would strongly recommend. Advice: listen to your customers, update your menu, you need a new manager that is in tune with what a good restaurant should run like, empty drink dispensers and soggy food are a recipe for non-returning customers.
