I waited to be seated while two tables were empty. Minutes later, the hostess asked if I wanted to sit at either table. When I ordered my food, I asked if I could get a cafe mocha, and the waitress said yes. She didn’t tell me that the coffee would be cold, have whip cream, and is more expensive than a regular coffee. My smoked salmon platter had whitefish with hundreds of bones in it, and had I known ahead of time, I would have substituted it for something easier to eat. While I was eating, my waitress put my bill on the table. This made me feel uncomfortable and never happens at other restaurants. I noticed the extra charge on my coffee, so when I told the hostess, she spoke to a manager and got it reduced to the regular price. I would have given 1 or 2 stars, but the staff were kind and checked in on me periodically. Sadly, I sat at my table with my bill and card in my hand, waiting for nearly 10 minutes for the waitress to pick it up. No waitress noticed until the hostess and I made eye contact, and she said, “You can pay up at the front desk”. I wish I was told that ahead of time. They made a ton of assumptions and didn’t communicate effectively with me. This place seems like it caters to “regulars” that know what to do and have telepathy. I hope communication improves and less assumptions are made about my knowledge of their restaurant.

Tried to take my son for breakfast to tower deli. After being greeted by the host and telling her it’s his birthday we waited for a table only to be sat in the way back of the back room where it was dark and hot. I have never had a bad experience like this here but this was quite upsetting from a family owned and run establishment. I walked out and left without eating. The food is always great but the prices keep increasing like everything else.

I am very disappointed that I was charged 42 bucks for 2 croissants sandwiches and avocado on the side . The size of this sandwich is a joke . I understand the meat in the sand which is good quality but come in 42 bucks I won’t be coming here any more . This is not a community restaurant , you are looking out for anyone but yourselves
