Stopped here on the way home from a road trip. Super quick service. Very friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything is homemade. I got the chicken basket with mashed taters and gravy and it was phenomenal. Best place we’ve ever ate in Kansas and can I just say the prices, THE PRICES ARE AMAZING!?! In this economy!?! a homemade double bacon cheeseburger for less than the price of what you pay McDonald’s!

We had the French Dip sandwiches, and they were fantastic! A very generous portion at a very affordable price! The pie was great too! Highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken & Full Salad Bar also!

I was surprised not to many people were there when I went, the place is usually full with no more places to park. The prices, quality and quantity is outstanding. Needless to say I was surprised on the prices considering everything else went skyrocket on us. Would I recommend? You bet even if it’s a to go order. Have you ever tried pear pie? Then you should, very good . This place is located in Norton Kansas. I had the hot beef with mashed potatoes dine in. Another time had pie to go. Again had pancakes to go. I will be there again to try more.

Typical small town Cafe and I mean that as a compliment! Good food, reasonable prices, takes you back in time a bit in a way

If you want highway robbery then stop here. Ran out of the fried chicken. Only Got 3 pieces of overcooked chicken for family of 5 complained but still charged over $40. Would not give discount. They didn’t tell anyone they sat after us eithrr yat they wouldn’t replenish the chicken. Fish barely cooked and not good. I had salad. Didn’t finish because dressing wasn’t good. Baby wouldn’t eat mashed potatoes because they weren’t good. Had to argue that we shouldn’t pay full price. Nothing was good. Only fair. Now we have to go get food somewhere else because only thing kids would eat off that buffet was the chicken. 0 stars is not an option. Dirty bathroom and floors. Only thing ok were 3 deviled eggs. Other out of town couple also upset because they paid $$$ for salad.

My friend and I stopped here on our way to Colorado. I decided on biscuits and gravy with coffee. The coffee was hot and fresh just like my food. I had to add a little bit of salt and pepper to the gravy to give it a little extra flavor, but for the most part it was pretty tasty. The biscuits, palm size and very moist. Our waitress was very nice and quick to get us refills and bring our food as needed. I would stop by here again if I was in the area.
