The place is very good, self service for food and drink, except bartender. After you order at counter they bring out food. Food ain’t cheap, fries are regular Idaho cut potatoes, need seasoned fries. Atmosphere is good. Burgers were good. Clean enviroment.

The burgers are very good, with lots of different options, and they have a wide selection of craft beers. The chicken wings, which are breaded, are also very good. There are a few things to note. You order at the counter and get a number to place at your table. You can order beer while placing your food order. Burgers do not automatically come with a side, e.g. fries, you need to order them. Parking can be a real issue at this location, especially at peak times, as it is limited and shared with other businesses. Definitely recommend trying them.

Old Man Overland

Sat in the bar area for a game mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Great bar crowd and vibe. It was UNC Homecoming weekend, so lots of UNC football fans (they won). We went with the Cheese Grilled Cheese. Excellent super cheesy sandwich with SPICY very large Jalapeños, the Roma tomatoes were cut thick, the Texas Toast was creamy buttery, thick cut premium bacon —— yummmmy. Did I say super uber cheesy? Like five types of cheese, awesomeness!

Historically really liked this location and food. Yet, they’ve jumped on the bandwagon of charging exorbitant fees. Already the base costs are rather exaggerated for the food but quality has generally held true; plus, given inflation I can appreciate the need to raise prices.

Love this place and go like once a week. PLEASE BRING BACK THE SKINNIER CUT FRIES FOR THE TRUFFLE FRIES PLEASE. Great place, but the thicker cut fries are always mid compared to what you had before.

The burgers were great. The outside patio area had chips under the table and crumbs in the cracks. Ants were on the ground on one side of our table. Also, they brought our fries several minutes before our burgers arrived.

Came for takeout, tasty food and cooked well. I don’t recommend fries if getting it to go, they were limp and it was only a 7 minute drive. Burger was a great size for the price. Overall I was satisfied and would return.
