Very good location for a nice breakfast where you can dine inside or outside. The Clinton Towne Restaurant had terrific service and I always had a cupful of coffee. The waitress was really nice and the food came out perfect. You have to be patient for your food as this is a small location with many patrons. We waited about 45 minutes for our breakfast which is a bit long. I will certainly be back as we enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food.

What a terrible experience. We arrived at 11:45am on Sunday, so it was busy. We sat immediately. No one took out order for 10 minutes. We put our order in then waited, and waited, and waited. No updates, no apology. Essentially the whole restaurant was ahead of us and we were the last of the rush. I asked if our food was coming out at about 12:35 and the answer was “the large table was in front of you so it “should” be soon”. I couldn’t take it anymore and stormed out at 12:45pm. I left some money to cover our coffee. Oh…..the coffee was bad diner coffee, thin and over-extracted. It’s the only food I tried hence the one star food review.

We called in a take out order for 2 of the Classic Breakfast Sandwiches (simple Bacon, Egg & Cheese) and requested to add hot sauce. Upon pick up I thought it was odd an $8 breakfast sandwich cost $25 for 2 but we didn’t want to argue. After we got home we realized the young girl who took our order must have mixed up “hot sauce” and “hot dog” and charged us for a custom sandwich – Bacon Egg and Hot Dog. We called and she offered to refund us the difference and make us new sandwiches. When we walked in her boss (and potentially the owner) was at the cash register with her and asked us for $8 for the new sandwich (clearly a miscommunication between them as well) – I explained we already paid and how both sandwiches were incorrect. No apology for the inconvenience – I was rudely handed a $5 refund for the $25 mistake. The remade breakfast sandwiches appeared to be 7/11 quality – for $8 a piece don’t bother coming here.

My omelet eggs were raw. It was tasteless, and without any seasoning whatsoever. Served with greasy potatoes. Other things on the menu are at least edible. Whomever is preparing their food needs to learn how to cook. Locals without tastebuds flock to the place.

I placed an order this morning for Home Fries, Chicken Quesadilla and California Burger. The the burger was good, nonetheless, this is what I got. Burned fries. I called the restaurant to talk to the manager and was told he was not available, then I asked for the owner and he was not available as well. Quesadilla is discussing. Not a restaurant I would recommend.

I could eat their ” feta avocado smash” for any meal of the day every single day and not get sick of it it is that delicious. My 12 yr olds favorite place to get a belgium waffle-or 2. Parking can sometimes be a challenge for that area of Clinton- use the public parking lot which is fairly close by or hope to get lucky and find a spot on the street.
