Awesome dog-friendly patio! I had brunch here this past Sunday accompanied by dog. I loved my mimosa paired with the watermelon feta salad! As someone who despises mushrooms, I also love that the truffle fries can be ordered without truffle oil. Parking is easy too since it’s adjacent to the park and I find it easy to park there. Please consider offering espresso martinis!

Overrated as far as the food, but staff is outstanding, esp. Miles, our waiter. Husband ordered the burger & though it didn’t come with lettuce & tomato, but did come with onion, he said it was good. But it was a $25 burger( w fries). Not worth it. I had the Date Night Salad. The picture is here? I had taken a couple bites before I thought I should take a picture. Someone put their hand in a bag of salad greens, threw on 3-4 slivers of dates, about 5 small pieces of a hard cheese, and called it a date night salad. It did have a nice dressing I had put on the side. I wouldn’t waste too much time on this date. Fries were very good. As I was finishing my white wine, I noticed something kind of cloudy floating at the bottom, thought it was possibly from the bottom of the bottle, like sediment. Pointed it out to our wonderful waiter, Miles. He apologized, frowned, took it to the man in front who apologized & took it off our bill. Good location but a tad noisy ( April), mediocre food, great staff, interesting location.

Visited this place on 8/6/23 and was entirely disappointed & highly unsatisfied with the waitress. She never gave her name and tried hard not to show her disinterest in servicing my best friend and me. Our gracious host was very friendly and politely and respectfully sat us at our table. She came over to our table about 15min AFTER we sat down. She brought the menus and said food is on one side and drinks on the other. Asked if we wanted anything besides water and took our order. Mind you this was our first visit to this place. After placing the order for two Townsend Burgers and fries. We waited and waited & waited, 40min later she finally came back to our table and said she was going to check on our food. It was NOT nowhere near being crowded. She brought the food back & surprisingly it was hot. She never came back. I finished my meal and she came past several times aware that I was finished. 20min or so my friend finished hers maybe 10min later she came to get our plates. Still not asking if we would like anything else, how was our meal, etc. She brings the check and walks away. We sat thinking she would eventually come back but she didn’t. We went up to the bar where she was to pay our bill. I placed the money in her hand and she disrespectful, abruptly puts my change down on the bar. I gathered my change that was all jumbled and never said thank you for coming, how was everything & because she never gave her name and I only describe her w/dark hair, older looking & worked our table by the patio between 2:30 & 5. For our first experience we were disrespected as human beings which left a bad taste in our mouths. One bad apple spoiled the bunch.

Atmosphere is chic… that’s it. Food wasn’t great. The steak was bland…needed more seasoning. Service was SLOW. They changed the menu a bit. I don’t know if I’ll be back to this one. My friend said the one downtown Detroit has a different menu. I’m not sure if that’s true or not. If so, I may check that one out. Other than that… I’m not interested in returning, neither are my friends. We all thought it was overrated!

Great place to spend time at. We had an out of State friend visiting us and we invited him there. Service was wow, 5 stars, everything came in the right time, drinks, appetizers and main course. All food we tried was delicious.

This place is definitely overrated with overpriced, mediocre food and subpar customer service. My friend and I dined on the patio last Friday evening, and we were not impressed. We had to ask multiple times for straws and silverware. My food wasn’t cooked as I requested. My friend was given the wrong beverage, but the server left it on the bill. When we brought this to our server’s attention, she said that she could remove the additional drink AFTER she received payment. We politely declined. Who would hand over a credit card to pay for something they didn’t order? The final straw was when the server snatched the check from my friend’s hand. Keep in mind, we were the only 2 out of 3 people of color in the entire establishment. My friend spoke with the manager, Aiden, who was filling in from the Detroit location. He apologized for the negative experience and said that he would give us a $50 credit to use at either location (Birmingham or Detroit). This never happened.

Nice atmosphere and the inside/ outside seating is very nice. Host and seating was pleasant and fast. Those are the two stars, now into the rest. The food was not at all what I’d hoped. Greasy (and simultaneously dry which was new to me) macaroni, terribly un-seasoned salmon, someone’s terrible excuse for succotash, Fried chicken taste like it was “marinated in dish water” to quote my 18yr old son, and the (vegan) burger and artichoke dip were just “ok”. At this price point I expected more but maybe the drinks are really good? I hate to leave a review like this but I wanted others from out of town to get an honest opinion from a foodie. I think if you’re going for drinks then maybe it would be cool even though from my vantage point there was a lot of ice being served which is one reason I didn’t order a cocktail; but I wouldn’t eat here again.
