Food was pretty darn good for a small town cafe!! The burger was HUGH!! Crinkle cut fries were good. The grilled cheese was WONDERFUL, cooked to perfection!!! I love grilled cheese & this was one of THE best I’ve had!! Service was ok. I ordered a cup of coffee & never received a refill, we had to ask for the cole slaw, which came with meal. The waitress was very kind. The restaurant seemed clean enough just an old place.

Honestly, I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is always good. Today I had car trouble as i pulled in to pick up food and by the grape vine and southern hospitality of someone knowing someone else my car got fixed in the parking lot. They really mean Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times.

I guess they were having an off day as the other reviews seem good, but when we went Saturday they were out of almost everything, we found a dead cockroach under a table, and the cups/table weren’t clean. Hubby’s omelet came out cold, and our fries were soggy, but also burned, somehow. Service was slow and they had no idea what they were out of until after they went back to the kitchen to ask. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but it was just not good that day.

The outside of the building looks like it is an abandoned building. The inside was decorated cute but filthy. We had to get our food to go because within minutes I started reacting to the mold and mildew in the building.

The food is good but, over $20 for a double patty melt plate with drink is overkill. You end up spend atleast $25 with a tip and you don’t get a refill on your drink unless its tea. I like the place but, I can’t justify that price for lunch when it’s equivalent to medium – High end restaurants like Texas roadhouse.
