Nice spot to grab drinks. Oysters were fresh and good. Cheeseboard wasn’t the best, cheese was very basic and tasted cheap, I wish they had more varieties. Bartenders were friendly.

My first time here last weekend I got the shrimp and grits with crab meat and my wife had the captain crunch french toast. It was just okay. My shrimp where overcooked and i did not care for the tomato based sauce. The grits and crabmeat were great, but i wouldn’t order this again. Towson Tavern is a classy establishment with some of the most savory food I’ve had in Maryland. The dish I had was packed with layers of flavors that seamlessly blended to create a highly pleasurable experience. It was complimented by excellent, savory Mac and cheese. I would highly recommend. I wish I had enough room to try everything on the menu. Everything I had was relatively cheap compared to other options in the area. The service was amazing and through. My only complaint would be that it is not open all day, only for dinner. I would gladly eat here for every meal of the day.

Had dinner during restaurant week on Wednesday. Excellent meal, half priced bottle of wine ($56 bottle for $28) and all for about $100 for two people. Also had a pre-dinner cocktail during happy hour for 30% off. Justin is an excellent bartender.

First the space you occupy is wonderfully decorated and the layout is stellar. The menu, from the appetizers, shared plates and entrees are varied and should appeal to all. Service is excellent. Beer and wine list very appealing. Dessert menu a bit lacking. We loved it.

The food was over salted even the tater tots? They advertise restrauant week menu but did not give because the kitchen was not set up? Had a peach old fashion, the peach was horrible tasteing and hard. The drink was bitter and I asked for no bitters. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Avoid going here, paying 60 dollars for bad brunch is horrible. Restrauants have to be more careful since they are charging more for there food.

Came here for a quick bite. Nice place for a date. We came during lunch time so we only saw the lunch menu. Lunch menu is mostly sandwiches and salads. Our food was very good. I recommend the Tavern burger and I loved the tater tots. The restaurant is near a movie theater (walking distance) and the Towson Mall. I recommend checking this place out. The service also was excellent. Very friendly staff.
