We arrived during the lunch rush, what we thought would have been a long wait turned out to be about 5 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. The staff was pleasant and prompt. I ordered the fried catfish Ruben on wheat. Absolutely the best!!! The bread was soft, the catfish was hot and perfectly seasoned. And that sauce, I have no clue what it’s called but it is definitely a must have. I highly recommend this restaurant.

OMG! I am so in love with this Sunrise burger, it taste, so great everything is there I’ll order the Sunrise Burger on the jalapeño cheddar Bun is amazing a pair so well with the egg everything the fries are amazing too. I love the atmosphere and you get so much for $20 also make sure you try to banana pudding.!!!!!! I will be back!!!

My second trip here. I came for the fried green tomatoes which you can get as a side or as an appetizer. I got the appetizer and it was good! The burger was seasoned great and huge. Well worth the trip and convenient to Jackson, Madison, canton, and Natchez trace. The staff were great as well.

I had the blue plate special it was very good! I ordered blackened chicken and two sides of greens. You order up front, while getting your drinks they will bring your food right to you table. Bathroom was clean and the place was very large. Plenty of seating!

Delicious with great customer service! I can’t wait to visit again. I had the catfish, okra, mashed potatoes (homemade), and green beans for under $14. Everything was well seasoned, the portion size was large, and the meal came with a drink included. I will be back sooner than later. Great job, Trace Grill!

We are traveling from Texas to Florida. We decided to make it a two day trip to do a little sight-seeing. We decided to check this place out because this place was close to our hotel and we like to try local places we can’t get at home. We found this restaurant and really liked it, though there are a few things we’d change. My husband had the ribs, green beans and onion rings; my daughter had the BLT on jalapeño bread; my son had one of the burgers and I had the veggie plate with coleslaw, collard greens, black-eyed peas and fried okra served with cornbread. The only negatives I had with the food was the fries were not good, kind of cold and tasteless, coleslaw was a bit bland and cornbread was served cold, but maybe that’s how they serve it. My daughter’s BLT was really good!! I was hoping my collard greens were served in a bowl as well as my black-eyed peas…good for soaking my cornbread in. But all in all, we’d definitely return if in the area again, even though this should be 2 dollar signs because it wasn’t cheap. Glad we found Trace Grill.
