This place has so much potential, but man did we have a bad time. Came on a Saturday, it was pretty busy, but there were tables open so not full. There were 2 bartenders/servers and they were running around like crazy. The ordering process was stressful because the waitress was in such a hurry that we felt like we were bothering her. The food was reasonably priced but we quickly learned why. The food it typical bar faire, but its not special in any way. The bone in wings are obviously frozen, and tiny. The BLT is where we found our biggest issue. My wife opened the sandwich after taking a bite of the BLT with no bacon, and there was 1/2 of one tiny slice of bacon. After waiting a few minutes to get the attention of the server, she asked if it was the standard amount of bacon and was told no, and the server took the plate to the kitchen. Someone from the kitchen brought it back after a few minutes with double the amount of bacon, still making her BLT an LT with a hint of B. We weren’t arguing again, so she just ate it and shut up. The choriqueso is great and I’m pretty sure it’s from Frankie’s on Mishawaka avenue, like a lot of the Mexican dishes. I’m curious to see if this place figures out it’s identity and how to manage going forward because it’s got potential, but it’s going to be a while before we give it a shot again. The photo is “BLT” after the kitchen fixed it.

Asked what time they open because Facebook says 24hrs and google search says 11. I showed up 11. The lady at bar got attitude and said 11. I told her I was here then . I got asked to leave without getting to try anything or be seated. The remodel looks lovely and so does photos online. Look forward to trying some day. Giving 2 for lady lying and asking me to leave. I did leave for business has a right to refuse customers.

Small local gem remodeled interior that was very clean and friendly. Smaller menu but the food and service was excellent! Bottom line is we will be going back again and supporting our local businesses! Great place can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I went to trackside to try for the first time one night..just wanted something quick and with great atmosphere.that’s exactly how I felt when I walked in.multiple people coming up to us to take our order..making sure we were waited on..which we very much were.I had the chicken quesadilla and a side of rice..o my..I don’t know what they do to make their chicken meat taste so good?????so flavorful and the rice was amazing!!my husband tried going healthy that night a lil and he got the chicken sandwich with no bun and sum sides.he loved it all too.I think he liked mine a lil more..cuz now it’s what we usually go do is pik up some carry out from trackside and go home and enjoy..I intend to bring my ladies with me next time as we used to all work with Leila way way back in the day..lol..looks like a perfect place for girls night out!!along with a great place to hang out the staff is incredibly friendly…and and a place where you would want to feel at home…see ya soon trackside!!

I LOVE Franky’s Tacos but I can’t stand behind this place. First of all there was a HAIR IN OUR CHEESEBURGER FRIES. They were also made wrong (no jalapeño.) We were brought the specials menu and attempted to order the special. I was told “it’s Saturday so we don’t have that one, i looked at my watch and stated that ‘it IS Saturday.’” Only to be told they are out of tortillas and are no longer serving the special. I asked if they were out if all tortillas but was told no. Sounds fishy to me. Our waitress “sweet pea” repeated our order back wrong, failed to bring more paper towels when the roll was empty, and didn’t take trash from the table. I had to get my own paper towels and ketchup. Asked for silverware and was told they only had plastic forks. After the hair we paid and left. No apology or manager came over. Hope Franky’s Tacos doesn’t go downhill like this as they are the same owners! Waitress failed to come collect for us to pay and had to go to the bar. Will not return.

A small little bar tucked back in the corner, living up to the Cheers feeling. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff paid attention and had fun with everyone, making sure to get to know you for just the right personal touch.
