All that is good is available at the aptly named Trailhead, an excellent restaurant to gather before or after a hike. Hikes are described on clipboards along the wall. The food is good too, of course! I’ve had the pulled pork, bratwurst, and a wonderful salad. They have a good selection of beer, ( Hazy IPA is the most popular) along with cappuccino and espresso drinks. The sodas are house made. I highly recommend Trailhead.

Two people were at the register though nobody was on line. While I waited for my order, I found most tables needed to be cleaned. I found a clean table outside. One star for outside seating. Though only two tables were cleaned, the views were pleasant. Ordered a BLTA and paid $14 for a hard as a rock ciabatta bread, very little lettuce and only a couple slices of tomatoes on one half and a couple bits of tomato on the other half. The A was missing in action. It came with house chips which were overcooked and salty. I was too upset to return the A-less BLTA and complain. I will never return to this place.

The second time I’m here. The staff is super friendly. I ordered the kids’ grilled cheese sandwich the first time, and the second time I ordered the cob salad; both items were delicious. The coffee is good as well. There are great sitting areas outside and in. I love that they have free wifi and spots to plug in your laptop. Plus, they sell beer and wine. So for sure, I’m coming back.

A perfect name for this place located at the bottom of a hill with many trails. Cute and cozy inside with different seating areas makes it feel large and spacious. Nice clean bathrooms easily available, with a lot of menu options and coffee options.

Good fare. Overpriced. In all fairness, the staff of five had just finished with the local high school crush and were very slow to produce a single sandwich with no other customers even in the store. With the scone and no drink, my total was over $21. Really?

What an amazing place! Such a great addition to this area of Novato. What is really cool is that they stock local beers and wines. Had the lobster roll and it rocked! Just the right amount of mayonnaise, with a healthy potion of lobster, and the toasted spilt bun was just like the East Coast! Can’t wait to try the breakfast menu items! So happy they opened up here!

Good food and coffee but wifi wouldn’t connect to internet. When I brought this to attention of staff the response was deer-in-the-headlights, I-don’t-care, “Oh well”. So I’m leaving a one star review so that this short curly-haired guy working there gets recognized for his terrible customer service.
