First time coming here since remodel. The new atmosphere and remodel is amazing. I love the new set up and everything. However the service wasn’t that good, our waiter barely came to the table to check on us and forgot about some of our food. The food wasn’t entirely bad, it was flavorful but a little dry.

This is our first time at the train diner and it was an extremely pleasant experience. When you first walk in you notice immediately how clean the place is, they have really good music playing and appropriate stimulating things on the TV 🙂 it was really nice to visit a diner and have a pleasant experience and not break the bank so it was well priced for what we got. I would love to see a couple more vegetarian options but other than that it was very good and we will definitely be back!

I’ve lived in the area for over 45 yrs and never gone in this place. Last week I was walking by and decided to grab a cup of coffee at the counter. (Starbucks, next door, has just raised the price of a cup of basic black coffee to $ 4.00+tx !) The counter service at Train was very prompt, friendly and attentive. While slowly enjoying my cup of coffee and refill, I perused the menu and was impressed with the diversity of breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. O was so impressed that I am going to enjoy a large breskfast there tomorrow. Very reasonably priced and great value. Ample parking and very close to Shoprite grocery..

So glad The Train has reopened. Just tried it for the first time. The new owners REALLY cleaned it up nicely with very comfortable seating. Food was great and looking forward to going there often, as we did before. Kudos to the new owners and staff!

Place was okay. The digital menu didn’t work when I came in and I had to get my own paper menu myself after I sat myself at a table. Food options were alright, nothing popped out at me. I ordered the rib eye steak sandwich and the plate that arrived was all the works of a burger but with little thin cut strips of a small steak so I wasn’t too thrilled but it tasted okay. Waiter didn’t interact much but the food didn’t take long, about 10 minutes to come out. Probably won’t be back here but it was worth a shot.

I went to the Train Diner for the first time a couple of weekends ago. I was really impressed. I love diner burgers. To me the old standard is a hamburger deluxe with a classic hamburger bun and a thin patty. Recently, diner’s have been trying to get a little too fancy for my liking, with big thick burgers, brioche buns and tons of toppings. Those burgers are good, but they’re not my favorite. In a quest for a classic diner burger, I’m happy to have finally found one at the Train Diner. The fries were awesome too!
