Highly recommend the handmade and hand ground corn gorditas- amazing!! The crispy and chewy combo is to die for. Tacos also delicious. I do wish they had a salsa cremosa- like the guacamole salsa. Their tomatillo salsa is tasty as well as the chile de árbol. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was packed at lunch time, midweek. Clean bathrooms and dining area. Will be back!

I’d expect to see them go places: I’m talking 4-5 star restaurant quality consistently. Haven’t tried anything that wasn’t amazing. 6 stars if possible. If you crave good Tex Mex with authenticity look no further. Must try.

Staff is so friendly and willing to explain everything about the menu. Food is prepared fresh to order and everything is delicious. Variety of sauces is great, and they’re all spicy and flavorful! Fries are forgettable, they’re just frozen but this isn’t a place you go for fries. I tried the burger because I’d heard good things and it was well made, but get the tacos instead.

Absolutely fabulous fish tacos. Crispy on the outside and flakey, moist on the inside. Served on fresh corn tortillas there was not a thing I would have changed. Topped with red cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro and their special sauce, each bite was delectable. Added bonus were their three housemade salsas you could use as well. Staff were all friendly and very helpful explaining the menu. A great find off the beaten path in Garland, highly recommend.

This was some pretty good food. The tacos, pork, barbeque and beef were all great. Actually, the entire plate was very tasty. If you need a little more spice, just ask them, they have the spicier sauce behind the counter.

Legit some of the best tacos / Mexican food you will find in the Dallas area, I go out of my way to visit this restaurant because it’s that good. If you have people in from out of town this is an awesome spot to take them to. Worth the drive from wherever you are in DFW, not your typical taco shop!

Fish tacos and a Chicken Gordita! Tranky’s is nice little place with outside seating. Food is awesome, made hot and fresh! Fish tacos has a nice little crunch with a spicy bite to them. I will be stopping in again before the week is up but for something different I seen.

Wow. Driving by hungry and I am glad I stopped by. I tried the taco plate with rice and beans and the rice tasted like my grandmas! Delish! Charro beans were amazing with a kick and fajita meat was my favorite. Also tried the picadillo gorditas and they were perfect with the Mexican cheese. Red salsa was spicy how I like it! You need to try this place! Staff is very friendly, explains menu, and follows up to make sure your food came out as expected. Space is also very clean so that’s a huge plus.
