Well, it was my first time there. I ordered a meal with twelve pieces of chicken/Greens,Mc&cheese, Yams, and corn bread + 2 extra large sides and a cup of Kool Aid. 62bucks 20 mins away.. thought I was getting wings and they were HUGE pieces of flats and drums that were so big and hairy..Disgusting..they were not cooked thoroughly enough for me. My Opinion..tasted kinda burnt like the oil needed changed. Great customer service Sides were pretty tasty Yams were kind of mushy but really tasty 4*

Amazing food!! Ordered Mac n cheese, greens, catfish and yams as well as a salmon plate with Mac n cheese and greens. Food is made to order so it’s fresh. Nothing was left in our plates. Customer service is on point also. Highly recommend this place and will be back myself

Me and my family ate here today and let me say the food was . I’m always hesitant on trying new places but I’m glad I did. The Mac n cheese was hands down the best I have ever had. My shrimp was fried and seasoned perfectly. My daughter smashed her chicken sandwich and left nothing behind. My wife had fish greens and fried okra that was off da chain. The service was also amazing. Vibe was chill with hip hop music playing. I will def be coming back!!

I thought this would be real authentic soul food. I was disappointed. The only items we enjoyed were the fried catfish and chicken. Their sides were not up to par, compared to food I’ve tried in the South. Maybe it’s their version of what southern/ soul food is supposed to taste like. Their collard greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread again, their version. Let’s not get started on the joke of peach cobbler they offer. That was not it. I would not recommend.

I’ve ordered grub hub twice and they ALWAYS forget my cornbread. My meal comes with 1 side and 1 corn bread. They ALWAYS FORGET THE CORN BREAD. WHYYY???

I just ordered the food in 1/29 and kook aid was missing I called and was told I would get a credit. And again today 2/26 I ordered the food 6 piece, extra corn bread , bake beans w turkey and potato salad. The food was delivered still hot and fresh , order was correct and food was delicious. Outstanding job . The same energy I used when order was missing an item. I called them today with the same energy to make sure they were aware of how great the food was and outstanding service and attention to detail.

Don’t let reviewers like S.A. fool you. There is more than one way of soul food. Every region is different and Trap brings the best I’ve ever had in the valley. I love their fried chicken sandwiches and sides! I can’t get enough of their potato salad. Everyone in my family loves them and I refer them all to my friends. Y’all gonna cater my wedding one day. Fo’sho best around.

I was just at my boy’s house and we stumbled on this place scrolling through nearby food spots. Let me tell you firsthand that this place is Grade A quality cooking, food was on point and cooked fresh! Service was excellent and I already told as many friends as I can to slide over there and see for themselves. My dawgs and I will definitely be pulling back up there 1000%. If you enjoy soul food or even if you don’t, I’d still advise you to try!

Chicken and cornbread was very good. The Mac and cheese plus the yams need more flavor. The lady taking the orders was very nice, but she didn’t know much about the items being sold. I wanted to know about the trap juice.
