Mid grade in about every area except service. I’ve never had a steak dinner served on a tapas size plate until this meal. But here we are. The meat itself was, well, mid grade. The New York Strip was tender enough, but the filet, well, I’m not sure if it was a filet. I did enjoy sizzling it on the lava plate, but that experience doesn’t excuse the quality issue. The real killer here was the price for this Valentines Day experience. 1 crab cake appetizer, 2 side salads, 4 oz new York Strip, 4 oz filet, 4 oz blackened shrimp (6 shrimp), a 5 oz ahi steak (definitely not sushi grade), a slice of cheescake and two fountain drinks for $136 out the door. Oh, they threw in a baked potato and a scoop of mashed. Mid. Grade. Just check the pics.

If you haven’t tried this Colorado restaurant you are missing out. Trapper’s food was delicious and so are the wonderful scenic and mountain views that surround you while you eat! We found out about this gem of a place from Belinda while dining elsewhere, and she told us to come see her at Trapper’s. So glad we did!!! We now have a new go to spot for happy hour and a nice dinner out. The burger was awesome and high quality and cooked to tastey perfection. The Romancing the Stone Ribeye was also really good and fun as it was coupled with a presentation on a hot stone , beautiful and delicious! Thank you Belinda and Trapper’s for the relaxing and friendly customer service! Looking forward to enjoying breakfast here too sometime! Already looking forward to coffee and a beautiful CO view !

My wife and I come here about once ever couple months to enjoy the All American Cheeseburger and fries. Delicious and consistent for us. Please keep it up. It is sad to hear that people have had bad experiences here. Belinda is has been our waitress most of the time and she makes a good meal into a truly pleasurable dining experience.

We LOVE eating here!! This is an awesome place that has great food and atmosphere! Cooking your own steak on the lava rock is my favorite. The staff is amazing!! We’ve had Taylor and Mackenzie several times as our server/bartender and they absolutely make this place one of our favorites. We will definitely be coming back!! You should too!
