Trattoria Amalfi, a new coastal Italian restaurant by Shoreline Hospitality Group, the operator of The Mariner, Via Emilia, and Bar Emilia, will open in Mystic Village in April 2023. Inspired by flavors from the Italian coastline, Trattoria Amalfi will focus on the freshest local seafood, seasonal ingredients and of course, our famous fresh pasta, always made in house. Trattoria Amalfi will offer over 200 seats throughout its spacious dining room, large bar, intimate private dining room, as well as two outdoor patios.

Walked in expecting an overpriced tourist trap with average food. I was pleasantly surprised at every aspect of my visit. Service was top notch, specifically my bartenders/servers Cody and Kaitlyn! The atmosphere was lively, elegant and family friendly. The food tasted extremely fresh and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled octopus, chicken piccatta, and lemon sorbet. 5/5 would come back! Thank you for a great experience.

This has been my 3rd time stopping in for lunch in the the past 2 weeks. The ambiance is welcoming and warm upon entering. The bar area is well designed and offers an ample amount of seating if you are popping in for just a drink. The Sicilian mule and espresso martini are delicious!!

Lovely new place right by the aquarium. We decided to grab food outside of the aquarium, and we’re pleasantly surprised with this high quality gem. The staff, especially Rain, was super friendly and was great with our 1 year old who had just woken up from his 2 hour nap. The food was wonderful – I got the chicken parm sandwich and it blew me away.

This place is AMAZING! Food was superb, everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Came with our family of 4 (2adults, 1 toddler 1 infant). Family friendly atmosphere, they have a nice kids menu. Inside is GORGEOUS!! Drinks are very good. Great for families, date night, friends all occasions ! Best of all service was very attentive and polite. Check them out ! You will not regret it

My boyfriend and I were visiting from NYC for vacation and spent a wonderful day in Mystic. After shopping around Olde Mistick Village, we came by for dinner. Angel was our server and he was an absolute JOY. From the minute we sat down he made sure we had the best experience. He gave us great recommendations when we were stuck on what to order (Everything just looked amazing honestly) and even told us he would ask the chef to personalize our pasta if we wanted a different type of noodle. Limoncello spritz and Blood orangina were amazing, followed by Nana’s garlic bread (Bread made by local community bakery) , NY strip, lobster taglionini, and lemon crostata (Recommended by Angel) & blueberry gelato (Also locally sourced from nearby dairy parlor). The entire meal was to die for. We truly can’t remember the last time we had such amazing service, we didn’t have to ask for anything – not once. Thank you for the exceptional service and attention to detail Angel. It’s true when they say you come for the food and return for the service/experience. And this is a Michelin star worthy experience.

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air- literally. Being a local who loves food can sometimes be tough around here. Moving home after living in a city means I miss the more eclectic restaurants, try finding a good Korean place .. with in 45 min I dare you. However our meal at amalfi was delish. The restaurant is both fresh and new but also somehow feels like a warm hug. The yellow booths that run through the dining room give it a chic edge and the waitstaff made us feel like we’d been friends for years. I’m excited to go back and try it again.We also noticed a spacious event room, the waitstaff explained there was even a second bar to accommodate events giving them their own private bartender. Ps- best espresso martini… we’ve had in a real long time!
