Wonderful food. Great service. One of our favorite authentic Italian restaurants in SE Texas. Octopus, calimari, seafood and spinach and ricotta ravioli, homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and more. And to top it all off, lemon cheesecake on a warm, humid day. We ate outside with our kids, but the inside atmosphere was really nice and quaint. Like family restaurants we’ve eaten at off the beaten path in Italy where you can tell they just genuinely love to cook.

My first trip to Galveston. My cousin has been here multiple times and she insisted we come in. I ordered the vegetable lasagna. Other meals ordered at our table were chicken parm, fettuccine with alfredo sauce and eggplant parm. I can not put into words how delicious everything was. I will dream about this meal. I would drive the four hours and stay the night just to return here. It was THAT GOOD!! From the moment we sat down until we had to leave it was an enjoyable experience. The personal attention from the owner and our server was welcoming. The house-made pasta took this lunch to another level. Service, food, atmosphere all top- notch. Highly recommend! Do not pass this place up.

We LOVE Tratorria! Reminds of the fresh pasta in Italy! You enter and are always greeted by the nice Italian owner. The kitchen is open when you walk in. You can see your dishes being freshly made & the trays of freshly rolled pasta ready. When you are seated, they bring you tasty bread & olive oil. All meals come with their house salad. It is fresh and light. Last night, I enjoyed their crab & cod ravioli. It was so delicious! My hubs had their lasagna and enjoyed it. I’ve never eaten the same thing here. They always have a special which I’ve tried & is always tasty. Their Osso Bucco is absolutely amazing & my favorite with their risotto! It is rich and decidant. I highly recommend this place for fresh Italian food. Reservations recommended. We will definitely return!

Great cozy restaurant for authentic Italian food. I had the spaghetti in clam sauce which was delicious. Typically this dish has few clams over a lot of spaghetti. As you can tell by the photo the clams were plentiful and were served over a reasonable serving of delicious home made pasta. My dining mates had equally piping hot outstanding meals.

The calamari was amazing! The fresh bread dipped in olive oil garlic was so tasty, the cheese (caprese) appetizers was not my favorite however my husband loved it! I enjoyed lasagna & my husband had the Seafood Risotto. Everything was very delicious, the scenery was breath taking! The waiter was very kind & fast. We entered the back way & discovered the beautiful starecase. It’s a must if you love Italian food! ❤️

My wife and I really enjoyed eating here. The food was absolutely amazing! It was fresh and very delicious! The only big issue I had was that the host and most likely the owner was very rude to us. We did not have reservations so we where told to wait for sitting. While patiently waiting we decided to look over the menu online and the host started accusing my wife of being on the phone and not paying attention to him. As we approached him he started to raise his voice at us and was very upset. I understand that probably being Italian he can be direct but he really needs to know how to tone it down and show more respect towards others. We decided to ignore his obnoxious demeanor and dine in. Overall the atmosphere was very nice and the food was exceptional!

The service and food are both exceptional. I started with a Caesar salad that was fresh and had great flavor followed by the Grouper Picatta, which was cooked with a perfectly balanced sauce that was full of flavor. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Galveston.

This restaurant is fantastic! BUT! What I want everyone to know is this place has the best calamari I’ve EVER tasted. I’ve eaten it in many places like NYC and Italy! I just ate it at BLVD Seafood. Theirs is okay. But THIS is so superior to all!
