Amazing! Just Amazing! We brought a group of 12 people in on a whim and were graciously welcomed even down to some weird specialized orders that were not on the menu. The salads were delicious with some of the best croutons I’ve ever tasted and the pasta was cooked to absolute perfection. Daryl puts his heart and soul into his cooking that you must experience when in the area. Just go and be delighted!

We remembered trattoria locale from it’s previous location and the extremely talented chef Daryl that did not disappoint us once again. We stopped in the new location for breakfast what a great surprise. The food was freshly prepared and the ricotta pancakes we’re out of this world. We will definitely become a regular with good food and good prices you will not be disappointed.

Daryl creates simply amazing dishes. The pasta is as good as the best we’ve had in Italy. He takes his time with every dish to ensure that the food is the best you’ll ever have. He greeted us, took our orders and cooked our food. Our party of 12 ordered some special items which he happily made for us. Every dish was better than the last. It’s just so good and he puts his soul into his food. Just go. Wait for your meal. It’s utterly worth it and completely sublime. Amazing x infinity!

We just left the restaurant. I am surprised that it has such good reviews. The atmosphere is one of a stark cafeteria. Although the waitress was very sweet and accommodating and very responsive, the food took over an hour to arrive and when it did it was underdone (super Al Dante). The sauce wasn’t very good. I had a salad with mozzarella (which was from a block not fresh). We all have stomach aches and I think the oil must have been rancid since I only had salad. Very disappointing and I hate leaving a bad review since we are local and was hoping it would be a nice find in the area. We ended up asking for bread three times and the bread was an airy roll cut up into slices rather than a crusty Italian type bread which Should have given us a hint. The chef is working alone and is not able to handle the number of guests. A couple next to us literally walked out and he ran after them to let them know the food was about to be plated. Another couple ended up going out to buy wine and they waited about an hour and twenty minutes for their food. If the food was amazing I wouldn’t have written this review but it wasn’t. Sorry. Hopefully they will get better.

Not the most convivial place when u walk in, somewhat sterile, very few tables, minimum staff… However the food is great, made to order, extremely tasty. The owner knows his tomates and Italian food. Excellent pasta. No pizza. No wine. Juste Real good food. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious meal. We had the meatballs and arugula salad as appetizers and two pasta dishes for the entrees. The homemade pasta was exceptional. The sauces were so, so flavorful. Highly recommend. Recommend calling ahead.

We picked up takeout from here on recommendation from the staff of the Roxbury Motel, and they did not steer us wrong. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful and of ample portion. Hopefully we can come back and dine in, so we can experience the full dining experience at this quaint and wonderful little gem in the Catskills. We will be back!

This is an incredibly cozy restaurant we stopped by while visiting friends in the cat skills. We had lunch here and the food was amazing, not what you would expect from a small town restaurant. I had the sauteed eggplant and smoked trout mascarpone spread crostini which was delicious! The eggplant is especially great! Main course was Linguine Con Gamberi – so flavorful, with just the right amount of kick to it. This chef knows what he is doing! My wife is gluten free and was very excited that they had lots of gluten free options. She had the Rigatoni Alla Norma pasta and I had to dig into her meal as well! The owners were very friendly and recently moved from NYC. They have lots of experience running high end restaurants in the city, which definitely shows in the quality of the food. Definitely recommend this spot as a destination – you won’t be disappointed!!

Beautiful outdoor dinner. Served promptly and cordially (my group were the only guests dining in while we were there). The menu was probably under a dozen dishes, but that made choosing something easier. Two wines available and one dessert, which was fabulous. I loved my chicken parmesan, although there were more large tomato chunks on it than I wanted to eat.
