Menu

Soups, Salads, and Appetizers
Caesar Salad With Chicken
Today, it is the quintessential American salad but, since it was created by an Italian immigrant, Cesare Cardini, we decided to include it in our menu.
Spring Salad
A refreshing combination of spring greens, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, and our sesame and oil dressing.
Grilled Calamari
Tender calamari, grilled to perfection over a bed of salad. Served with olive oil and lemon.
Prosciutto E Melone
Real prosciutto of Parma and sweet cantaloupe melon. The most famous Italian appetizer.
Pasta E Fagioli Soup
The traditional creamy bean soup, served Tuscan-style with pasta, raw olive oil, and pepper.
Pasta
Tagliatelle Fresche Alla Panna
The world-renowned pasta with a luscious Parmesan and cream sauce.
Rigatoni All’ Amatriciana
The famous sauce, with tomato, onion, pancetta, and red pepper, believed to have been created in Rome by a restaurateur from the small town of Amatrice in the Abruzzo region.
Tagliatelle Fresche Alla Bolognese
The world-famous meat sauce. You can’t find a better meat sauce anywhere in the world outside of the city of Bologna!
Spaghetti Alla Carbonara
Our most famous pasta dish, prepared with eggs, bacon, Parmesan cheese, and a touch of cream for smoothness.
Rigatoni Alla Panna
Our great creation: a blend of porcini mushrooms and meat sauce with a touch of cream and Parmesan cheese.

This is my first time trying this Italian restaurant. The first thing the waitress was very cheerful and inviting as wastage owner. The owner came by and introduced himself and also mentioned that the menus was created by him, a true Italian from Italy. All the food was delicious and the service was on point. The place had a great feel.

Went last night for dinner. My wife had the salmon over spring salad and I had the fettuccine. Both really good. Service was great, thanks to Heather. Owner is very involved and spoke to each table sharing stories about Milan and offering dinner suggestions. Very nice.

The dinner was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be back for the food. The bread and sauce plate was delicious with a nice tapenade surprise. The food came out in a reasonable time and was the perfect dining temperature.

The owner is horrible. Half the time he can’t pay his employees, won’t fix the ac that’s been down for months and months, spends most of his time crying about poor business all while not even being there until later, and never does anything to improve it. He opened up with crackheads he attained from the local homeless shelter. He’s claiming to be selling a business that he only owns the menu of. It’s a joke. Avoid at all costs. Don’t even think his Cuban cooks are legal.

First off I never make reviews this is how good this place was!! Hands down the best Italian food that I have had down in Fl. We are from New York and know our Italian foods. We went out to dinner with our friends last night I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the veal. It was amazing the chicken melted in my mouth and it was nice and thin it came with three pieces which was more then enough and got the homemade mash potatoes that were to die for.. it was a nice environment and the waitress was very nice and told us that they can switch up anything on the menu and Nino made sure everything came out good! Can’t wait to go back!

Expensive. No meal comes with salad. They have no chicken parmigiana because they have no deep fryer. No fried calamari, mozzarella stix, zucchini, ravioli etc. Nothing fried at all. Desserts were excellent but on expensive side. They won’t make it in my opinion in this area. Waitress was not bad.

Stopped there today for lunch.. Nice decor with hints of Milan.. I had the fettuccine alfredo.. Best I ever had everything is made in house including the noodles.. Excellent!! Also had a friend calzone so it was like a pizza puff!! That was very good as well!!! Wish I could give 6 stars.. Best Italian food I’ve had since I’ve been in Fort Myers.. An absolute must try!!!

My wife and I and our friends from England stumbled upon Trattoria Padana as we travelled back to Madeira Beach from the Everglades. What a pleasant surprise to have found this place! Nino greeted us as friends in way of the Italians, putting us at ease instantly. The food is absolutely fantastic! We had the Veal Scallopini and Risotto ai Fruta di Mare and it was scrumptious! Highly recommend this Trattoria!

By far the worst place I’ve been to, waitress got two other tables drinks before our drinks came out and we got there 10-15 minutes prior to both tables. Our drinks didn’t come out until we were 5 minutes into our entrees. We also got salads as appetizers. The waitress never checked on us once while we ate and sat down at three different tables with her customers and ignored us. The waitress looked like she was running around without a head. I wish i took a video of it, it was like a movie.
