Found this gem of an Italian restaurant while on business in Fort Worth this past week. The food was outstanding. I requested something not quite on the menu and they made it perfectly! A spicy vodka tomato cream sauce with penne pasta. Also ordered their house salad with incredibly fresh romaine, a rich, sweet balsamic glaze and crisp purple onions. They also brought fresh baked bread with a pesto olive oil dipping sauce. They don’t serve wine at the restaurant but do allow you to bring wine. I stopped at Total Wine and More which is only a few miles away and picked up a Reserve Chianti. Service was friendly and attentive. Pro tip, Roma is open on Mondays!

We had Romana Salad and some of the best eggplant Parm I have ever had! Our server said it was her mother in law’s recipe and wow! It was fluffy, perfect light sauce and mozzarella on the best eggplant! This is my go to for Italian restaurants and they passed with 5 stars. The water was filtered and the bread was really exceptional! All in all, perfecto!

I have been trying to get here for a while! This restaurant opened during the pandemic which the fact that it still is in business is a testament to the place. The food, service and food was excellent. We started with the bruschetta & Cesar salad (pictured) and then my dining parter got the lasagna and I got the penne calciccia (?) sausage. The entree’s were nice sized portions and came to our table hot! We took the lava cake to go and ended up eating the next day, delicious! The inside of the restaurant was cozy, and there is also a small patio outside the restaurant. We will definitely go there again…but there are so many Italian food choices in Petaluma!
