Likely the best BBQ in the Indianapolis area. LOVE the brisket! Homemade pickles are fantastic. I have tried almost all the items on the menu and everything is great. We stop in a couple of times a month. Great food, great service and great people!

I really liked the 1/4 tray. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. I loved the pulled pork too. The sausage was not my favorite, but not bad. My wife had the pulled chicken. It was flavorful and moist. The special vegetable was collard greens. I thought it was just a little too salty, but not to the point of not being able to eat. I ate it all and generally liked it. The bread pudding was really good. Save some room to get this treat.

This is a special place. When I pulled up I was a bit intimidated as there were a ton of cars there. Walked in and there was a line to order a mile long. I’m not sure how they did it, but they kept the line moving, and I ordered in no time. Always seemed to have seats open as well as they turned them over quickly. The bbq was amazing. Meat Smokey and juicy, sides were just amazing. I always say the best bbq is served on a tray and butcher paper. Plenty of sauces to choose from including mustard, vinegar, spicy, sweet, and an amazing Jamaican jerk. A couple more I know I’m forgetting. You can’t go wrong here plus it shares a building with a brewery

We are huge fans of Trax BBQ and recently had them cater our wedding. They did not disappoint! We had so many compliments about their delicious brisket, pulled pork and pickles! Everything was very good. Brisket was tender, juicy, and cut generously. The pulled chicken was flavorful but a little on the dry side–the many sauces made up for that. The absolute best by far were the chicken wings. They were seasoned perfectly and had a crispy skin. You have to try some of those!

I visited for the first time last week, and it was outstanding. I ordered pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, and slaw. All were excellent. Next time I plan to try the chicken and/or ribs.

It’s hard to find really good barbecue in Indiana. Trax delivers with their low and slow smoked Meats cooked over Hickory wood. Our favorites are the brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. The sides are on equal par with their Meats, and all made in house, as are there several varieties of barbecue sauces. We love the dill pickles and the hush puppies especially. I wasn’t brave enough to try this month’s smashburger, which is two beef patties, pulled pork, brisket, pimento cheese, slaw and t.o.p. on a brioche bun. The food is really good, but what makes this place extra special is April. She is kind, friendly, and always on top of things. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 is because they don’t have corn nuggets . Worth a drive to check it out, enjoy a beer at the enjoined brewery, and spend time enjoying friends and great food. The picture is the 1/4 sheet (says feeds 1-2), which includes 3 Meats, 2 sides, slaw, Texas Toast, and pickles. It could easily feed 3 or more.
