The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The owner is lovely and hospitable. My take out was packed carefully and is very nicely prepared and tasty. My only criticism is tin foil was stuck to rice wrapper on spring rolls maybe wrap in paper instead?

This Arvada restaurant serves basic Chinese food. Our main concern was the lack of transparency about ingredients used. Our son ordered the sesame chicken dish and we did not realize that Treasure Pot’s recipe contains peanutbutter and he ended up in the ER with anaphylaxis. If you do choose to dine there, we suggest you explicitly ask for a server who knows the ingredients in each dish as these will not be noted on the menu and may not be known by all staff. The staff was apologetic after the incident occurred.

I was a bit disappointed with this restaurant. As you walk in, you are greeted with country music and are going to find your own seating. The service was alright, but it took about 10 minutes for the server to realize we had come into the restaurant. The food was pretty average. Honestly, it’s not better than a panda express. I got a combination plate to try a couple of things. Nothing on the plate was all that special. The beef had little flavor, the chicken was a bit dry, and the lo mein was pretty greasy. If you are looking for an awesome spot to eat, look somewhere else.

Initially, I had rated this restaurant with 3 stars because the crab cheese wontons were overcooked on 3 occasions and the beef and vegetables didn’t wow my husband, But, we’ve since gotten food from here several more times and it’s been great. We love the chicken lo mein and the lemon chicken rocks! And they seem to have figured out the wonton issue – they haven’t been overcooked for our more recent orders.
