This was my first visit to this restaurant and I have to say it was just perfect. First of all, we were greeted with a smile when we entered by who turned out to be our server. She was so kind and accommodating the whole time…kept the sweet tea and margaritas coming! This is an authentic, family owned Mexican restaurant with a laid back, casual, welcoming atmosphere. Our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner…the salsa was thick and fresh and the queso dip was hot and tasty. We tried the chicken enchiladas, the beef soft tacos, the shrimp quesadilla, and rice and beans. All were excellent…fresh shredded chicken and not too much red sauce, beef soft tacos were hot and filled to the brim, plentiful amount of hot grilled shrimp with peppers and onions, and even the rice was fluffy and beans were tasty. The owner came by and asked how everything was and made us feel right at home. Now that’s what I call a great meal! Tres Garcias is our NEW FAVORITE! Thank you so much, Gloria.

We came for Cinco de Mayo for dinner as we were passing through. The staff and the owner were very friendly, and attentive. It was packed and we found out that there was only one cook, but the wait was worth it. The food was delicious and my mom had so much food on her plate that she had to get a to go box.

This place is a great find. Our waitress Ellie suggested the dish called “Polliyo” when I asked about getting some peppers added to ACP. WOW it was incredible! The dish also had zucchini and it was super yummy. The owner was so kind and told us that most of the dishes are named for good friends (some who have passed away) and it was very sweet to see him smile in remembrance of his friends. Top notch place, food and people. ☺️
