Bartender gave us some dirty stares when we first came in. Maybe we looked like lowlifes. Ordered a few drinks. The bartender seemed to warm up to us after a minute but overall I didn’t really feel wanted. We left after one drink. Looked at the menu on our way out and it looked like there was a nice set of choices. Maybe next time I will catch the bartender in a better mood cuz I’d love to review the food here. I know the owners son and it seems like a good family that owns the place. Good Ole boy atmosphere. Lots of slots and games to keep your adult child busy.

Disappointing. Went for a fish fry. The fish was soggy n bland, served on top of the soggy and super greasy french fries making the fish even more soggy n greasy. The cheese hash browns were not hash browns but barely warm cubed potatoes with melted cheese on a tiny corner and all served on paper plates with plastic forks. The parking was a nightmare and to get in I had to walk through a crowd of smokers. The friendly bartender was the only good thing I encountered.

Went there for dinner about a week ago and walked in and sat at a table near the bar. There was maybe 10 people at the bar and two bartenders working. No one came to the table which I figured is maybe how they do things so after about 10 minutes I went up to the bar to order. I was completely ignored while standing up there for over 10 minutes when neither bartender was waiting on anybody. They were talking to other customers and looked at me directly numerous times. Even the other customers seemed rude and everybody was looking at us like we didn’t belong there. So we grabbed our things and left without getting a drink or any food and being in an awkward situation for almost a half an hour. Very unwelcoming atmosphere!

Food is delicious, but if they don’t want to fulfill door dash orders they should just end their agreement with door dash. It’s much more disappointing to wait an hour just to find out they didn’t want to fulfill it.

Ordered half/half – French fries only and didn’t receive tartar sauce. Check your orders when you pickup! Considering they raised their prices by several dollars, it’s now $14.99 for a two piece beer battered fish fry, they should make sure their orders are correct!!

This little “watering hole” is way more than it seems from the outside. Friendly service, great drinks and delicious food. I ordered a steak sandwich that was phenomenal…I’m a pretty picky “harry met sally”, type of customer and I highly recommend trying it out. Customers next to us were regulars and ordered pulled pork that looked and smelled amazing as well. I’d definitely go back when in the wausau area.

Great bartenders here but the french fries tasted like they came from the toilet. My brother had the jumbo shrimp and he said it tasted like dishwater. I called them when we got back home when we discovered how bad the food tastes and they just said ok I will let them know. They didn’t even offer to replace it or give our money back. Will never buy food from here again. I used to eat there all the time but after this experience I won’t be going back.
