Every bite was complex, delicious, and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is utterly unbelievable and unique. The salt water tank separating the kitchen from the entry was a fantastic touch. Everywhere you look there’s some small touches of detail and personality. And even if the atmosphere wasn’t so spectacular, the view of the bay is showcased perfectly with the huge windows and rounded building. I can’t wait to return.

Trident is worth the visit just for the astetics! Clever decorations accompanying craft cocktails, a decent wine list, and delicious food. Service was great and knowledgeable! Don’t sleep in the chicken sandwich, possibly best of all time! 10/10 will definitely return when in the area

I don’t know where to start… Upon entry, you’re smacked in the face with this breathtaking view! Soon, you’re greeted by several smiling faces and seated in the fish room or the sunset room! Both are so beautiful and create this calming ambiance resembling being on the beach! Trident has such a creative drink and food menu to not only add to the experience but enhance it! To sum up my experience; the staff was amazing, the drinks were generously tasty, the food was incredible, out of this world! I am thoroughly impressed and will be introducing everyone I know to Trident and the beautiful Panacea area!

Food was, OK. Service, we literally had to ask someone to find out server twice. Was going to call the coast guard for a search. Could have just been busy. We will try again and maybe it will be better. The views are awesome and they have an outside play area for the kids if you have to wait. Interior is very well decorated with two different themes. In the sky and under the sea. Amazing aquarium when you enter.

Amazing!! The duck was just excellent. Best thing I’ve eaten in years. All of the food was excellent. Service was great, ambiance was great and they’ve done a great job with the decor. It’s right on the water too. I can’t want to go back. The only thing that I would change is the music, some nice modern beachy reggae like Stick Figure would be nice.

We had the fried catfish and seafood heaven. The catfish portion was generous with a large bed of grits. I’m surprised with the fine grit corn choice, almost a cornmeal, but it was good.

I was really excited to see what the Backwoods folks were gonna do with the old harbor house location and finally made a trip down to see my parents and take them out. Overall is was okay and I will probably try it again later down the road when they are more established.

Overall it was a good experience. The Grouper Poboy was good. The softshell crab sandwich was very good. The fries were good. I was looking forward to trying the lionfish tacos but they were not on the menu today. The waitress said the menu will be changing. I guess depending on availability of the various ingredients.

Trident is a fantastic new concept from the people who run Backwoods Crossing – seat to table.. The food was incredible and the service was top notch.. It is well worth the trip from Tallahassee. The lion fish tacos are highly recommended – do your part to control an invasive species.

What the heck! We can’t believe this even exists, they knocked it out of the park with this place. We are so lucky to have this locally. First time visit, the renovation of the building is top notch. The staff are incredible, wish I could remember our servers name, blonde maybe Kristen. Started with the Rocky Shrimp, basically a fancy bang bang shrimp but the avacado chimichurri with feta elevates the dish to stellar level. She got the panko crusted pork stuffed chicken. I got the Tuna Truffle sandwich, the truffle sauce is insane. There is not 1 reason to not stop by in your way by or go out of your way to visit. Nothing like it in the area.
