In addition to being a great restaurant serving awesome food and wine, TRIO Grill is also a fantastic venue for intimate wedding celebrations! Its outdoor patio is covered but also has two open sides, meaning you and your guests get some fresh air without being exposed to the full heat of a DC summer. The roof also ensured that the sunlight coming into the area was soft and flattering, meaning you get beautiful, natural wedding photos.

We popped in for a quick bite and drink and we are glad that we did. It was a bit noisy at first but settled down as the night came to an end. We were promptly sat even though we did not have a reservation, I appreciated that! Our server Cameron was quick to give us drink and specials recommendations which were phenomenal, it was obvious that Cameron has fine dinning experience by his knowledge, promptness, and friendly demeanor throughout our entire visit. Burrata was unique but still delicious, the ratatouille was more of a house potato but also good. The pork chop special was absolutely phenomenal. The food was unique compared to the traditional style but sometimes its nice to experiment with traditional dishes. Definitely the highlight of our experience was our server Cameron. He was so pleasant, patient, and very knowledgeable about the menu.

I stopped by after work, around 5:30 on a Friday. It wasn’t crowded at all. I sat at the bar. There were 4 bartenders and a barback working at this time. Every single one of them stopped by to greet me and check on me while I was there. They were all so friendly and helpful while I looked over the menu and made my choices. I opted for 2 appetizers, the Beef Carpaccio and the Housemade Gnocchi. Both were delicious. I took pics, but only after I started eating, so I didn’t think they were pictures I should post. I especially loved the gnocchi, it really was great! There were several items on the menu that I’d like to try, so I’ll definitely be back.

Wow. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. We went to Trio for a holiday party, there was plenty of dedicated space, and staff for a perfect evening. The manager checked on things several times which was a nice touch and the staff members were amazing. The food was first-class. Give Trio a try for a classy evening out.

Great first time experience visiting! We were celebrating a birthday and had reservations at a later time, and when we arrived 45 minutes earlier, the staff happily sat us ahead of time (though a slower night). Within minutes, we had water and bread for the table, and shortly after the server took our drink order and let us taste the wine before taking our food order. We began with the burrata and the mussels. Both appetizers were extremely fresh and delicious! The burrata was soft to the palate and melt in your mouth, and the mussels were cooked in the most flavorful sauce with a hint of heat. My NY strip as entree was exactly what was expected and beyond! Great cut of meat perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection with tons of quality flavor. We ended it with the key lime cheesecake, which was the icing on the cake. Service was superb, with staff constantly filling out waters and checking on us. A great option for your special celebration or for a regular go-to spot!
