I ordered a chicken parm wedge that tasted just average and it comes with fries for takeout. The wedge was ready fast for pickup. The two waitresses that I seen were very friendly and pleasant. The 3 stars comes from the putting the food in a plastic bag, and when I got to work there weren’t any ketchup or salt for the fries, no napkins and no utensils and the cost was a little over $17.00

Ordered Dinner to go on a Friday night. After placing the order it told me it would be ready in 15 min, I was skeptical due to the items ordered but I arrived in exactly 15 min and they were bagging it up! The order was packaged extremely well and had all the sauces etc. The food was also delicious! We had a Caesar salad, the Trio appitizer (calamari, coconut shrimp, and fried zucchini), the chicken Marsala, and the Prime Rib. They even through in 6 dinner rolls with butter. Everything was delicious and portions enormous – I am a big eater but managed to finish only 60% of the prime rib. We live only about a mile away so will absolutely be back again and again!

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is always delicious and the staff treat you like family! It’s like going to a beloved relative’s home for dinner and cocktails. I’ve been there several times, tried different menu items and it’s always a home run. Every time!

The owner’s son was actually my second grade assistant teacher, but that isn’t the only reason I like Trips’. The food is great, the ambient is great and the service is great. There’s a bar and delicious and I mean delicious desserts. 10/10 would 100% recommend if you’re visiting or maybe nearby it’s a go to place for my family.

Am I missing something? I came at lunchtime and got a salad with grilled chicken to go. It was extremely average, nothing at all to write home about. I am amazed at all the great reviews? With the exception of maybe one restaurant This area is not known for its high end food.

This is an old school restaurant and I mean that in a good way. At one time there were many restaurants serving good basic food, well prepared and at a good price. Today there are not many left. The service was very informal but attentive and prompt. The menu options were many of the old classics, well prepared with quality ingredients. The prices were good. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the deserts, they were out of many choices and the one we had, cheesecake, was not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. We will definitely be back.

It’s always like visiting family when I come here — so friendly, warm, and accommodating. Janie and family always deliver the deliciousness and don’t try to rush you out the door. I never miss the chance to order the steamed clams to start, and I’m never disappointed with their salads and grilled salmon. They are more than willing to tailor my order and always get it right. Great mixed drinks, too. Pay a visit and be happy you did!
