Called in a to go order today for lunch. When I called, the girl who took my order was extremely pleasant (I think it was Hayley). I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu for the first time. This sandwich is delicious! The thick cut grilled ham really got me. I wasn’t expecting it to be so thick, but that portion perfectly accompanied the flavor of the chicken and Swiss cheese. Great ratio! Trish was out in the lobby when I came in to grab my order and of course always makes me feel welcome. She has always been a supporter of our nonprofit and it is not unappreciated. Great place, great people and fantastic food! Highly recommended!

The moment we walked in, I knew we’d just found a real ‘jewel’ of a place!

Just a hop, skip and a jump off I-65. Homemade food. Cinnamon pastries were to die for. Mac and cheese was one of the best. Meatloaf platter was above average and BLT was avg. with thick cut tomatoes, (almost too thick). Would come back again. Great decor and friendly staff. Breakfast all day and they serve alcohol.

As much as I enjoyed the food and drinks (they did NOT hold back on the cherry in my coke) the service was even better. They had a friendly staff and were extremely kid friendly. They kept coming and checking on my 20 month old son, who was massively wolfing down his blueberry pancakes. I have never seen someone put away so much food in a little body. Sadly, he made a bit of a mess, but they told me not to worry about it, even though I offered to help clean it up. They were just happy here, and I came in and spent a father son lunch together. They were genuinely happy to see his smiling, happy face and listen to him laugh and giggle as he strangled each pancake in his little chubby fist.

Wonderful spot for dinner! Food was delicious; highly recommend their onion rings & “The Phoenix” (spicy chicken sandwich). Server took great care of us, and Trish herself even came out to check how our visit was. Even though there is not tons of seating, the restaurant graciously got us in with a same-day reservation for 16 (kid-friendly!) on a Friday night. Do not miss out on this hidden gem! Kudos to Trish and her awesome staff for a phenomenal visit!

Went for pancakes one morning, they were good (had a touch of a crisp crunch on the edges, which was a nice touch). Overall certainly worth stopping in.

There were 8 of us, but the service was great despite the large group. It was hard to decide what to order because everything sounded good. And I loved looking at all the vintage items used to decorate the place.

Easy access from the Interstate. We were greeted and seated right away. Every worker was kind and friendly to us and our children. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Great tasting food, really good service, and great portions for the price. Nostalgic diner atmosphere with very nice music. We will be stopping back again in the future, on our drive from Ohio to Chicago 🙂

Stopped in for a break and a bite during an 11 hr road trip. Didn’t want to mess with traffic and congestion of the next exit up. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Very clean and well kept restaurant. Food was great, price was fair. Try the Rib sandwich, best sandwich I’ve had in a long time.
