Unfortunately, I have been unable to taste the food because it is falsely advertised that they are open Monday from 11:00am – 8:00pm. I reside in the area and have walked down twice on 2 separate occasions, only to find the door locked and the restaurant closed! This was a total waste of my Time (which) is precious, not to mention this is false advertisement, this restaurant clearly doesn’t want to make any real money, and has definitely lost a potentially good customer!

I enjoyed a delicious take out lunch today! I got two meals to share with my husband. My first time trying oxtail. It came with calypso rice, plantains and cabbage. All were so tasty…full of flavor, seasoned well. We also had chicken curry. It was so tender and full of just the right amount of curry. Got the rice & peas with this, as well as the cabbage and plantains. They gave me the extra side (cabbage) to try since it was my first visit. I loved it! The containers were stuffed full so we also have leftovers. Great value! I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!

You WILL NOT find a better place in all Schenectady and sad to say, Irey Vybez in Albany, CAN NOT TOUCH the oxtail and food in HERE!!!!! No joke, I am so serious!!!! Off the major charts!!! You have to try this out for a FACT, you will not be disappointed. Trust!!! My neighbor put me on to this spot

Haven’t had the food but definitely will try. Came here after dinner for some music and drinks. Drinks were strong, music was good. Weather was bad, so not many people in there, but the ones there was around late twenties to mid 40’s. Not a huge space, but it definitely has potential to be a lovely spot,. I would definitely return!

Me and my husband were in town for a weekend get away. Googled this place had great reviews so decided to stop in and have a beer and grab take out for dinner. Food was excellent and nice sized portions. Hubby had the ox tail I had jerk chicken. Both came with rice and beans cabbage an plaintains. We were both very happy with our meal. I ordered jerk chicken dinner and when I got home and open the food it was under cooked and bloody. I was very disappointed this was my second time getting food from here and both times it was under cooked. It even smelled bloody first time experience this make me not want to eat chicken ever again.

Had the Seafood platter with Lobster tail. Kenneth and his team made us feel really welcome. And the food was excellent! The Cajun spices and butter was excellent to swish the potatoes through. And just the right amount of hot.

I stopped in to grab dinner on my way home from work! I got rice and peas cabbage and a mixture of the jerk chicken curry goat and oxtails. I’ve got to say that this is some of the best food that I have ever tasted the oxtails were definitely by far the best I’ve ever had. The Establishment was quiet clean and the owners were very friendly I would highly recommend this place to anybody

It doesn’t matter if the food is solid. When I order in advance I need them to have the food ready when I get there. Every time I’m told 30 minutes, that’s fine but when I show up 30 minutes later and the food isn’t ready for another 15 to 20 additional minutes that is a problem. I get 30 minutes for lunch. 3 of the 4 times I’ve gone, I’ve experienced this extra, unnecessary wait. It’s as if they didn’t even start making the food. I don’t know if it’s disorganization or what, but they need to respect that people are calling ahead to appropriately plan for the 30 minutes they get for lunchbreak and they should give more realistic timeframes for when food is ready for pickup so that customers dont spend extra time waiting.
