AMAZING! Normally I don’t leave reviews but this place just amazed us, We order a big fried fish, it comes with a super tasty sides.. the quality, the freshness and the FLAVOR was just sooo good, my husband and I just keep talking about how good it was all the time, plus they are very welcoming and the service was just out of norm in a positive way. So so good. I’m no food critic, I just like to feel welcomed, eat a great meal and the environment to be pleasant. Tropical flava checked all the boxes. The food was delicious, ox tail and curry chicken was well spiced, very tender and so very good. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant itself inviting. We will def go back.

Now this is a (Jamaican) Caribbean restaurant,have definitely done it the meal was absolutely delicious, all the flavors in place. It was very close to the different meals I had in Jamaica. And the folks over there do it a year long and atheist 7 days a week. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice the table setting was like a wedding reception. The wait staff was exceptionally professional, And definitely on top of the game.. Looking forward to patronizing this establishment in the near future.

Staple in the community. Staff was very polite and informative. The love and attention they provide their regulars was a pleasant surprise. You don’t see that type of service anymore. Food was very good. True limeade!! It’s not Caribbean if they don’t. I had oxtail, mac n cheese, and cabbage which was amazing!! Definitely will be back.

Stopped in for lunch and had large portions of delicious food. The special was beef stew over rice which my husband had. My daughters had Jerk Chicken and Oxtail. I had Curry Goat. They let us sit outside and it was a pleasant day.

My food was amazing!! The Fried Fish was seasoned perfectly. The sides were and excellent compliment for it. This was my first time trying a whole fish like this and I was pleased. My cousin had the Oxtails and she was also pleased with her meal. Tropical Flava restaurant is located in a quaint community and the food is delicious the escovitch fish, oxtail, curry goat are all my favorites. They have Jamaican Pattie’s,coco bread and natural juices.The owner James and his staff are all friendly and the the quality of the food will keep you going back. I am new to Macon and it is my favorite spot to go out and eat on the weekends with my husband.
