Living where we do ,there’s no access to traditional Jamaican cuisine! It was definitely worth the trip coming to The Tropical Grill! Fantastic oxtails and curried goat!! Huge portions for the money! The meat patties and coco bread were superb! Staff were very efficient and friendly! We will definitely be back!!

I recently had the brown stew chicken with white rice and mac & cheese at it was amazing. The stew was very flavorful, and the chicken was tender. The amount of food you get for the price you pay is great too!

The worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life. Oxtails sat in a pile of grease on my plate,tough and not seasoned. Mac and cheese dry with no cheese only pepper sprinkled on it. Rice and peas were okay and cabbage horrible. I started gagging I think the oil from the oxtails was making me sick. And to make matters worst when I originally ordered I asked for a side of gravy and the cook in the kitchen complained about how he doesn’t give out extra gravy and refused. And I had to listen to him complain about the gravy the whole time I sat in the restaurant. I will never come back again!!!

Im on a 10 day fast, and this place is a go to for that. I ordered the Black chicken w/mix veggies with rice (with beans)….ohhhh soo good yall need to try them. Just make sho you lock your doors and park in the designated area to park. It’s on 3rd and they crazi on 3rd

The food was ok. It taste like it was cooked a day or two ago and reheated and sauced. We ordered white rice, mac & cheese, cabbage, oxtails and jerk chicken. We ordered things and had to be refunded because she said, I told you from the beginning, I’m not sure what we have today, versus just checking with the owner/manager/cook, we thought that to be unprofessional.

For $30.00 it’s not worth it. 6 oxtails a scoop of mac n cheese with rice and peas and 1 skimpy plantain. I plate was very over priced for the serving and the quality of food. That will be my first and last time. That’s not jamaican style food
