I’ve eaten Caribbean food all my life. Never seen stew chicken rice and peas look like this. Looked like Chinese sweet and sour chicken and had no flavor. Won’t order from here again. More power to all of y’all ordering. Maybe you’ll have a better experience.

I ordered the oxtail and chicken combo. The oxtails did not have any Jamaican flavor to it. All you taste is salt. I also ordered the fried dumplings and it was something that looked like smashed fried bread. No flavor and no form. I keep giving this place a chance and the food keeps getting worse. I’m done.

I have been coming here for about 5 years. Particularly for my quick breakfast meal – porridge. Warm, Creamy and truly delicious as is. It’s the perfect comfort food and fills you up. No need to add anything extra (like some do with oatmeal). I usually pick up a small which is $3, but my favorite is the cornmeal porridge so I like to splurge and get a large. You will not be disappointed!

Wow the quantity was extremely small for the cost we paid. They have gone down. An entire piece of chicken is bone no meat should remove this and place something with meat.

The restaurant is located in a plaza along State Rd. 7 (441). Once inside, you’ll see the take-out counter with a few seats for customers to sit and wait while the food is being prepared. To the left of the take-out counter, you go through a door and you are in the dining area where there are adequate table seating and a flat screen TV on the wall.

Food was cold, and it tasted poor. Come on, I’m not even Caribbean and I could have done better. I had the curry goat. The lady looked nice, and clean which made me think even more so the food would be of quality but it wasn’t. Why did I have to wait so almost 10 minutes to get cold bad tasting food. No flavor cabbage, and one dry tasteless plantain. I should have kept driving, I heard they were good a long time ago. Definitely not anymore. I could tell by what I was given other choice food would be of poor taste and quality too. Please hire a better chef and stop the mess.

I’m just gonna say it tastes as good as it looks. The staff is reliable, sometimes I’m running late for work and I put my order in over the phone and pick it up from there. They’ve never failed on my fave meal as far as quality and taste. I’ve been going to them for about 4 years and I cant find a bad review or complaint. Just great.

Brown stew chicken was way too sweet and lacked depth of flavor and seasoning. The rice was extremely plain and the cabbage was literally just cabbage – no carrots, peppers, onion, anything. I’ve never been this disappointed with a Jamaican plate before.

I ordered Ackee and saltfish. It was delicious; However, the saltfish could have used one more boil off. Too salty man. Cho! Please consider people with Hypertension or high blood pressure in the future.

Oxtails are the only thing I like here, and they are really good, awesome flavor, tender and tasty…but they pile your plate with rice and only give you a few pieces of meat, then have the nerve to be stingy with the gravy. For tne price that they charge and the portion of meat is ridiculous. The service sucks, they have attitudes and never smile or greet you. And if you call and order ahead you still have to wait when to get there.
