To start off, my mother is guyanese, and my father is Trinidadian. The food was probably the most mediocre Jamaican food I’ve ever ordered. The brown stew chicken looked more like baked chicken in brown sauce, the curry goat was chewy, and the sauce was very light. The jerk chicken was mild at best. The food isn’t bad, nor is the portion, but if this is your first time eating Jamaican food, do not think this is the standard. Prices aren’t bad. $11.99 for chicken meals which consist of chicken, rice, a side and plantain. Goat cost $15.99 with same extras and oxtail is a bit more but I couldn’t get the price because prices aren’t listed anywhere in the store nor online.

Found this new place and was looking for some Trinidadian food and what an exciting find! the service was very friendly and the food was great! It’s a Caribbean restaurant that has a little of Trinidad and Jamaica. I had the Oxtail and roti it was cooked with love. If you feel for the Caribbean Isle this is definitely a great place to try out. They are still working on the seating interior but they have Take out.

I didn’t get to sit in today and then I had to take my food to go but I would say this is the best oxtail I’ve had at Florida so far of the 3000 or so restaurants I’ve been to definitely come by wide variety of the classic options and decent pricing and there’s always enough rice

I don’t know what happened. When they first came to town, the food was amazing. So fresh and very homemade tasting. We were in here like every other day. I think they may have changed chefs or vendors but it has gone downhill. We’ve been back 2-3 times in the past month to see if it was just a one off but something definitely changed. We really want to continue supporting them because the potential is there but they’ve got to get the quality back.
