I have so many places that I have gone to eat Jamaican food and never had an issue seeing how much of paying for my food or how is the service to be given to us. This place is too small do not have any pricing for what you’re going to eat and they actually jump people over the line to serve them before others waiting in there not a fan of it.

Had the lunch special my first time there. It wasn’t the curry chicken or the jerk pork, it was the other. It was so good! Second time I had oxtail! Also got a natural juice that was Irish moss and linseed, which was pretty good and filling. If you’re lactose-intolerant, it’s especially good (I’m not, but it’s made with almond milk). So good!

I really enjoyed this place. The Jerk chicken is outstanding. Their Island Rythm jerk sauce is some if the best I’ve tried. Very Spicy and flavorful but not burn a hole in the roof of your mouth hot. The rice and peas are cooked perfectly and when you add some if the curry chicken sauce, it really transcends into another flavor signature dish. Friendly staff and a clean restaurant make it an inviting eatery. I would definitely come back here.

I’ve been coming here weekly for at least a year. It’s clean and so is the bathroom. I get oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage with extra gravy. I’ve never been dissapointed with that meal. It’s more than $20 worth if oxtail and if you know how much they cost to buy it’s a fair deal. The taste is consistent and they have a good option of natural drinks.

I spent about 77 dollars on ubereats for a large oxtail and escovitch fish and 3 patties. They forgot to send the fish. Of course I was upset because my mom was looking forward to that fish as she doesn’t eat meat. When we called, the lady on the phone was very professional, and “Nat” promised to resend the whole order free of the charge the following day because it was late and no driver available. We received the full order the next day for lunch. It was all so good the second time around. I am impressed with this establishment. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how you handle them is what counts.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR OVER 5+ years and I tried several times to give the benefit of doubt these last couple times but again today we were dissatisfied and felt like we should have spent our money else where due to the service we have been receiving I don’t know if these are new workers at the front but the young lady that was there before was friendlier and more professional. Not only has the service myself and my husband have been receiving have been rude but also the serving of our food has been unpleasant especially when I’m spending over $60+ each time I come here it’s a shame and very disappointing. I called 2 1/2 hours ahead of time to place our order and once we get there it’s not ready and I was coming during my lunch break I specifically told the young lady Ronnie that and still we get there and it’s not ready so I was late getting back to work I am very upset. If I wasn’t short on time I would have went else where. I would ask a simple question and either one answers with an attitude and rolling eyes for no reason like we in high school. I’m spending my hard earn money here why would you treat your customers this way. I have been referring customers to you guys for years I will not be doing that anymore because I wouldn’t want someone else being treated this way. You had a loyal customer but wasn’t appreciated. I’ve had dinner a previous time which made me come back. Called ahead to order as I knew it would take a while for the fish to “cook”..30-35mins I was told. Highly disappointed in the order I received last night. Before I pay $22 again for a large escovitch fish, please ask me if I’d be ok with a previously fried snapper fish that was attempted to be re warm with veggies and stale plantains. Serve food to your expectations to your culture please.

I really love Jamican food and was really excited about getting some the next morning because I delivered that morning at Big Lots in the same plaza. But i was really disappointed because my chicken tasted like it 2 days old and hardly had any flavor, plus the cashier possibly shouldn’t have been at work sick and coughing up a storm behind the counter. I ate my lunch that morning and by nightfall I had diarrhea. Very disappointed with this restaurant.

I gave this place two stars because the food is really good however the portion size are very limited in my oxtails are always filled with bones no meat I’m not paying for bones. The only time I got quality food was when I went to pick it up do not order from this place on ubereats it’s too hit a Miss to keep playing around with a large came with five bones no bones were fully full of meat. It’s like businesses post pandemic are trying to get a smaller portion and still charge higher prices however we’re not responsible for your overhead we are consumers we should be able to get quality service and that’s not what this place provides it’s not consistent.

Been coming here since it opened…. Always felt in the tampa area it has the best food that taste closest thing to Jamaica… I am a little disappointed they changed up the oxtail from years past.. the gravy changed etc and I think the rice, the soups are all 100% , curry goat, oxtail use to be a specialty that no one in town could match, but it has since changed a bit, not bad but personally as real yardy like the previous taste … but definitely soups here for me
