I was looking for coffee and found this spot. A solid Cuban spot with phenomenal food and other menu items.

So this is a comparison of CUBAN food to the local favorite PORTO’S..Hands down, this has the superior food – and because the don’t have the volume of the other, their service is also that much better. These people know how to fry stuff. Their fried chicken taste like pork. Really great stuff – highly recommend..

Came here for lunch and had the ropa viejas plate. It was delicious, it came with buttered bread that was the perfect touch. The server was very attentive and refilled our drinks promptly.

Comparable food and pastries to Porto’s Bakery or better. Just less busier than Portos. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.

I’ve been hearing of this place and finally on this side of town. We ordered cortaditos and a coconut pastry both were delicious. Will come back for some food next time.

I went to this place years ago, and after 5 years, I came back to get pan de dulce and found that the customer service has improved a lot.

Expansive menu of Cuban specialty dishes ranging from breakfast to dessert! Plates are organized by protein option. There is pork, beef, and chicken. If you get a diner plate, it comes with your choice of sides. I recommend the black beans and rice, I think it’s the perfect compliment to most of the dishes on the menu. The dining room is small but the service is fast. This spot is perfect for a quick bite to eat!

Seems bigger parties were given more attention than a party of 2. My plate order had fried plantains instead of the garlic yuca. My husband’s shake was mamey instead of mango flavor. We were hungry so we settled to eat/drink them. Service has gotten a bit poor after the pandemic. I liked my flavorful battered beef plate though.

Wow, my first Cuban restaurant experience! What a treat, excellent service w a smile. We tried Ox tail which is a delicious meal w a tasty broth & a tasty pork dish w onions similar to Carnitas. The coffee shots were also tasty, no sugar needed as you get a complimentary slice of sweet bread. Both plates came w black beans & rice, then a side of plantains (fried banana). We also took some pastries home from their wonderful bakery because, well it is so FRESH & delicious.

The old servers here are no good. Not sure if you have to be Cuban or what. The reason I say this its because we experience horrible service while dinning in. You must be Cuban to get good service at this restaurant i guess. Races Hispanic servers. Don’t expect a good tip if you don’t give good service to customers in general Mexican.White Cuban. Chinese or Black. Respect others. Gente ignorante..
