We suggest allowing your guests to choose two selections, including flavored cheesecakes, delicious tortes or our housemade Tiramisù and Crème Brûlée. You may also select sherbet or vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce or liqueur toppings ($3 to $4). Terrace Room
Our Terrace Room can comfortably seat 35 people. The room arrangement can be individual tables seating of 4-8 people, or the following arrangements: can accommodate up to 30 people, can accommodate up to 20 people
Briar Room
Our Briar Room can comfortably seat up to 80 people. Individual tables can accommodate 4-6-8 people. You are welcome to decorate the room or bring in your own flowers or centerpieces. The flowers provided by the restaurant should not be removed unless arranged in advance. A deposit of $100 is required to confirm a reservation. The room deposit must be received within one week from the initial booking or the space may be reserved for another patron. If you need to cancel your reservation, this deposit will be refunded if the cancellation occurs at least 30 days in advance; otherwise the deposit is deducted from your guest check. Your reservation is considered tentative until the room deposit is paid

Had a wonderful dinner here! Our server was very friendly and all our food was delicious! We got the coconut tempura shrimp for our appetizer and it was delicious! Nice big shrimp and the pineapple salsa and the sweet Chilli sauce were so good! I got the new york strip and my Fiancé got the cheese tortellini for our entrees and split a chocolate torte for dessert. Everything tasted amazing and the atmosphere was excellent! We are having our wedding reception here next month and I can’t wait!!

Long time central Iowan here, but had never been to the Greenbriar before. My wife and I went on a date here on a Friday recently and the food was great, service even better. We saw a local celebrity come in to dine as well, which was an unexpected treat. More of an upscale crowd. Prices are a bit high, and you can expect to pay over $100 with tip for two with drinks and dessert or appetizers. We’ll be back at some point though.

Greenbriar has some thing for everyone-elevates your experience -whether you’re in the bar, on the patio, or the dining room, celebrating a special event or just there for apps and drinks! We’ve been usually getting the takeout for pizza and side salad topped with the wonderful house dressing, creamy, Parmesan. Any entree or appetizer is delicious, the drinks are made Expertly, the wine list is wonderful. I suggest a reservation. If you do takeout be there promptly but you may need to wait a couple of minutes if it’s during the busy times. The staff is hard-working and I want you to have the best experience possible. We’ve also used Greenbriar‘s for catering which is done very well with absolutely delicious food. we’re ordering French dip, Merle, hay, auto mile salad…yum! The bar is beautiful and the dining room plush!

Went here last minute for my birthday. I called before we left to make sure we could get in and they reserved us a spot. We arrived 10 minutes early and even though it was packed, they got us right in. We splurged on a appetizer, steaks, drinks and dessert and enjoyed it all! Very nice, relaxing atmosphere where you’re never rushed. The food is delicious every time!

One of the better restaurants in Johnson. It’s a mix of trying to appear classy but also pretty casual. Good for a date night or business meeting. Highly recommend reservations ahead of time as it always seems busy.
