Joined a friend here for my first experience. So happy to find good BBQ close to work. I ordered one meat and two sides. I did ask for lean brisket, but received fatty. Not a big deal, I cut that off. The coleslaw is okay — but too much liquid. The pinto beans are delicious!

About to start a grocery run, I was lured in by a delicious looking baked potato sign. Then, I had some internal conflict on whether to get that or the pulled pork sandwich at a low $4.69. (More signage ) Go with your instincts,” they said, and I did. There was no remorse. I tackled this giant, loaded, ATW papa like it was my last meal. After devouring all the good stuff, I ripped some of the sea salted skin off the potato and dunked it in BBQ sauce and was quite satisfied. Hey, it’s not fancy but this place is not trying to be. I really enjoyed this impromptu lunch!

One of my personal favorite BBQ spots! Thr atmosphere just screams Texas, their drink selection is OK, their sandwiches is god-tier, their Mac n cheese is not that good, their cobbler is amazing, and they have the best bread! Overall in my top 3 and my third favorite BBQ spot.

This is $17+ dollars worth of food? No complaints about the taste, which was good-to-fair for Houston BBQ. But ONE slice of brisket and the three smallest pork ribs on the rack was inadequate and disappointing, particularly given the cost. I would have sent it back, but you recall what Joe Pesci said about drive-throughs, right. I’m taking the time to post this review, so it’s probably clear to all how irritated I am with this. It’ll be a long time before I waste my money there. Caveat Emptor!

This restaurant is normally a favorite. We ordered a platter for 16 people. It was all great, but the chicken was not properly cooked. When we cut into it blood came out and it was red/pink. I contacted the manager. He did not ask me to come pick it up, have me bring it in, or to redo the order.

Ordered strawberry cobbler, received peach. Very soggy and inedible. Brisket was tough and inedible. Beans had no flavor either and watery. Mac and cheese was OK. The pickles were the star of the plate and most likely came from a grocery store. Pretty terrible plate of food overall.
