The best sushi I’ve had in a LONG time. Fresh ingredients and new flavor profiles allowing us to get out of the old Shaggy Dog Roll rut. I had the Mimi Roll (of course) and it was delicious. I love the small casual vibe of the restaurant. It’s appears this little gem is getting busy and in need of additional staff- which is a good problem to have. Awaiting a clean table was well worth the excellent dinner we were served. Will definitely be back.

The Texan roll was soooo good. Very tender. Also got a spicy cali roll which was a bit cheaper. I’d recommend getting a signature and regular sushi!

I have eaten sushi in Singapore, China, and Japan and never have I seen or tasted fish this fresh. I had to keep asking the sushi chef what I had ordered because I had never seen what I usually order look and taste the way it did. The owner was very sweet and informative. You can tell he really loves what he does. The quality of the fish and the way he manages it is similar to what you might expect of a restaurant charging 3 times more than what he charged. Instead he was charging what you would might expect from maybe a lower quality place. I loved the atmosphere and how clean he kept everything. Very transparent and caring. Staff was also very kind. I live 3 hours away but will definitely come back!

Great selection of sushi! Food was great. Service was a little slow but we were there at prime time, and several tables sat right behind us. Had the Spider and the Hawaiian both were great!

Used to love this place but unfortunately the quality has gone down. I sat down at the bar and it smelled fishy. When i ordered the sushi it was brought to me all on one plate for 2 different type of sushi 4 pieces each. The cherry blossom roll the fish did not hold together. Either it was cut wrong or it was old. Tuna sushi meat should not be broken. I will change my review if I come back and it changes.

This is the place you need to be at for sushi. My wife and I frequent this place for date night. The music, atmosphere, and quality of the sushi is next level. My only complaint is that they close at nine, and I was forced to go to a different sushi place tonight. Once you go to Tsubasa other sushi tastes like HEB sushi.

amazing sushi, great service, great price! the atmosphere was amazing. everyone was so kind, welcomed at the door with a nice hello. we felt very comfortable. food came quick and fresh. would definitely recommend the cherry blossom dish! service was very patient and gave great advice. was full and happy at the end of my lunch!
