The average rating of this place in Google was a 4.6 at the time I wrote this and that was our main reason for stopping in. The interior was very clean and open with pleasant staff. I was a little disappointed in the food selection. They did not have brisket, nor did they have baby back ribs. I chose the 3 spare rib menu item with two sides. Before I get into the rib disappointment I will say that their Coleslaw and Green Beans (two sides) were fantastic! The spare ribs were dry and severely over seasoned with what I think was cumin and cayenne pepper. I was not impressed. They do not serve alcoholic. So it is a mixed review. This place has potential but I’d work on improving the meat selection as well as the preparation.

This place had the most delicious, fresh vegetables I’ve had in months! We were so pleasantly surprised how tasty the BBQ was and for the fact a salad was available! We’ll be back as soon as we can. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

One of my crew suggested grabbing lunch there. I didn’t even know the place existed. I sure am glad he suggested it! Real “out of the way” country dining experience. I went all in so I could try everything. I got the dinner combo 3, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken with Mac n cheese and potato salad. I picked at it because it was lunch but my wife and I made dinner out of it that evening. Someone with a large appetite could probably probably polish it off in one sitting but make sure your recliner is near by

We’ve been looking for land around this area. We found out that the gentleman who farms a piece of property we were interested in, his family owns this restaurant so it was recommended to us. Wasn’t sure what to expect at first but by the time we left we were all full. Will definitely make a trip down for another visit as the service and the food were fantastic.

Great small town shop. Not the place to go if you’re looking for ‘fast food.’ An excellent place if you want the home cooked meal experience. You will leave here feeling important and part of the family. The staff are very friendly. Food is good and portion size is great.

Very satisfying plenty of food to eat. Ordered plate for one person enough to fill 2 people up. Same plate different day. Amount was less and waitress was slow to start will until I told her that was the worse service I had since I had been coming there.

I went here about a year and a half ago and have been craving it ever since!!!! Love the coleslaw. Awesome tender pulled pork and ribs. There bbq sauce is also super good. Very friendly staff. Also only about 10 min from the Blue Springs so I get it to go and have a nice picnic. Awesome bbq restraunt!!!!
