It’s been my favorite BBQ restaurant since 1981. Located on the south side of Macon, Georgia, it originally opened in 1947 and has been run by the father and his son Tommy ever since. I love the tang of the vinegar sauce.

Been living in Middle Georgia on and off since 2011. I always wanted to try this spot, but the hours are very limited. Today I finally timed things right and was coming in hot through the parking lot. I got the Pulled Pork BBQ and Fries Plate, with a huge sweet tea. For less than $15 I got a plate large enough to feed 2 people, or myself twice. It did not disappoint, and I will absolutely be back!

This is a little Gem of a BBQ resturant. Fresh cut fries, great slaw and the BBQ is just right. Not too much vinegar and not too saucy. Arnold Palmer tea is in a huge cup and is so good!

Absolutely wonderful! Service and barbecue were excellent — pork and Brunswick stew especially so. The barbecue plate is a great value for the quality and amount of food. Looking forward to coming back!
