Best french fries in the county. Good service, low wait time and not much has changed since the 1980s. It is good to see a long lasting small business. Well worth the trip to the Boone Mall.

Tuckers. Since 1992 it has been a Boone staple. We’ve been coming for 25 years and go out of our way to eat here. Mr. Tucker and his family serve up amazing, delicious, food in this little cafe tucked away in the mall. Tons of items on the menu and all come out near perfect. Personally, I think they have the best gyro outside of NYC. (I have never been able to order anything else). But I’ve seen my family get beautiful salads and sandwiches and attest to their deliciousness. It’s inside is cheery and the people are always friendly.

Tuckered out. Forget the traditional restaurant. I ordered cheeseburger with fries (recommended as the best) The cheeseburger was processed perfectly “round”. Traditional burger would use fresh ground hamburger & thicker. Usual frozen fries. Paper under food soggy. I had to ask for utensils.I tried to eat. I told waitress I could not eat the food. With an attitude she removed it.

Was not able to eat here. Stood outside waiting to be sat for 5 minutes as employees walked around us without making eye contact. When I questioned if we were doing something wrong, the waitress snapped that they were very busy and they were trying to catch-up. All I wanted was to be acknowledged and updated. The food may be good, I don’t know as this was my first time there but Tucker’s could use a hostess or a staff that knows how to talk to a prospective customer.

I’m always in search of a good “Mom and Pop” restaurant where most of the food is made from scratch with very little heat and add water items! Tucker’s Cafe at the Mall in Boone was a pleasant surprise. There was something on the menu for everyone in my family

Came here for lunch today when we were in a rush. Our Waiter was fantastic and helped us out quick. The fried pickles and pub chips were delicious! All 5 of us were delighted with our food and it was a great experience! Would recommend for anyone from Boone or on Vacation!
