We got the trio with chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole. Everything was delicious and it was tough to choose a favorite! I got the ribeye and blackened tuna tacos which had a lot of flavor and were both really juicy. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Man, this place is GREAT! Like I am mad at myself for not realizing it was around sooner. The tacos are by far the beat tacos I have had in Roanoke. The “southern comfort# catfish taco was amazing! My two girlfriends and I placed our orders then ate then placed second orders for more tacos then I ordered more tacos to take home for my husband. The service was quick and allowed for your overindulgence! They whipped me up a classic rum punch and it was so good I had a few and their signature “Spicy Cucumber Margherita” was really good but it was VERY SPICY! The restuarant was clean and kept and that includs the restroom. The location has like 10 parking spots on the side lot however your best bet ends up being street parking so bring your parallel parking skills.

Has so much potential! The atmosphere was great, good music and excellent service (huge win in today’s world!). The food, however, was bad. Tasteless carnitas and queso. Reminiscent of taco bell. Perhaps other are better? For $5/taco, I expect more. Salsa was super sweet (not terrible), they were out of tres leches…meh. Wouldn’t do again.

We love the food from here. Usually great hospitality but the last time we got food from them will be our last time in general. It might seem petty to some but we are a family of principle. We purchased 80 dollars worth of takeout. Enough to feed 4-5 people. My wife asked for 4 more hot sauce containers considering we are trying to have sauce for everyone and just dropped 80 on a meal…. The lady told us we can buy hot sauce bottles but she couldn’t give us any more with the meal. She had a nasty attitude from the second we walked in the door. She was even talking about my wife to other employees to the point my wife could over hear them. This is the second time the same chick gave us this much attitude. You need to have people who don’t seem like they hate their life running your bar and restaurant… That lady who runs the bar seems miserable everytime we go. You gotta do better.

Great food, great service and great value. Head over on Tuesdays for buy two get one free tacos and between 3 and 6 it’s happy hour for drinks too. The Carnitas was delicious. All very tasty and served in two styles : Traditional and Gringo! Perhaps a little greasy.

We visited for Tequila drinks & snacks/apps on Cinco de Mayo (2023). Our group was quickly seated & attended. Our drinks were better than average (we’d visited several “Mexican” restaurants this day). The tacos were the best of the day (we were hunting, testing, & evaluating!!)…Service in their crowded establishment was acceptable…Festive occasion! Decor & Beads! We had a pretty good time on a nice temperate day where other patrons (inside & outside) seemed to have similar experience. You should visit & try it out!!

Currently sitting at the bar here at Tuco’s Taqueria after finishing eating two of their tacos. This is my fifth time coming here and their food is just too good ! I asked the bartender, Jake, for their sweetest cocktail and he made a great skittles candy margarita. Love the atmosphere here and everyone’s super nice. 10/10 !
