Turkish Tea
It has a fresh earthy aroma and strong delicious flavor. We use a caydanlik (Turkish double teapot) for brewing the tea, which makes a huge difference. Not bitter and very soft notes, easy to drink! it’s always offered in small tulip-shaped glasses which you have to hold by the rim to save your fingertips from burning because it’s served boiling hot. You can add sugar to it but no milk, and you can have it either lighter (weaker) or darker (stronger) depending on your taste because Turkish tea is made by pouring some very strong tea into the glass, then cutting it with water to the desired strength.

Absolutely phenomenal little cafe! It’s tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza, so you do need to pay attention to find it but it’s worth it! The cortado I was served has to be the best example of the beverage I have ever had anywhere, paired with the spinach cheese flatbread I had an amazing light lunch. do yourself a favor and come here at least once! It’s well worth it.

I have been here twice and I have to say this is such a lovely cafe!! Everyone here is extremely kind and welcoming. I don’t have much experience with Turkish food, but both times they’ve been willing to explain and answer any questions I had. The second time I came I was given complementary Turkish coffee & a Turkish delight treat while I waited for my food. It was such a kind gesture and gave me the opportunity to try something I likely wouldn’t have ordered on my own. The food…the food is so flavorful and delicious! I mean my taste buds haven’t experienced flavors quite like this anywhere else! I obviously like meat, but there are meatless options available as well. The cafe area is small, but it’s been empty both times I’ve come in so not really an issue. Overall, the Tulip Cafe is a great Turkish bakery/restaurant right here in northwest Columbus! A must visit if you want to awaken your taste buds!

Where do I even start? I was in the area and did not want fast food and saw this place pop up. I rarely see Turkish food as an option, but what little experience I’ve had with it, I’ve been impressed. This place is no exception. In fact, probably the best I’ve had to date. Not only is the food amazing, but the welcoming experience I had was such an awesome cherry on top. I was given a Turkish coffee with a Turkish delight while I waited for my food. Such a sweet gesture like this is so hard to find currently. I will definitely be back! I can’t wait to try everything! Not one thing I ordered (and I ordered a lot) was anything less than amazing. I can’t wait to see this business grow. What an absolute gem for Columbus!

Ordered the meat, spinach and cheese pie to go and they were amazing. The white chocolate mocha was better than Starbucks and the bakery is just adorable. Great place for a snack or a meal!

Excellent service with authentic food! And when they say authentic, they really mean it. How often do you go to an “overseas cuisine” restaurant and find people of that particular country running the kitchen? This place is one of not many of those. Food is prepared to order and tastes delicious. Smiling face and hospitality of the lady who takes your order and prepares your finger licking meals will make you feel as if you’re in the heart of Turkey and not in Columbus Ohio. Will definitely recommend.

Wonderful little cafe! Thrilled that they had authentic Turkish delights and brought a few to take home. The food, and Turkish coffee were incredible! We talked with the owners for a little bit and they were the kindest people. We’re two little tables inside that we sat at but I believe most of their business is take out. Please stop in if your in the area, we are lucky to have a place like this!
