Today was our first time eating here and we selected it based on the good reviews. Every month we met up with our cousins and pick a new restaurant to try while we catch up. There was a nice selection of food on the menu but unfortunately we had hardly been seated when our waitress asked what we wanted and was very short and to the point. It was as if we were bothering her just being there. There was no greeting or introduction, we hadn’t even had a chance to look the menu over. We asked for a couple of minutes and it seemed as though that request really annoyed her. She promptly came back a minute later and took the order and walked off not another word and no refills until we were leaving. The food was good, waitress was just short with us and made us feel unwelcome and rushed the entire time. Don’t think we will ever come back here….not because of the food but because of the service.

I am just In Love with this space, which says a lot coming from a Vegan and I’m known to be Super Picky about my food. Melissa and her expertise in cheffin up some bomb quality vegan breakfast has completely won me over! It’s so rich and filling and just like some good ole homestyle country cooking that Everyone needs in their lives at some point. My beloved vegans: you Will have to dine in – no door dash option unfortunately – but it is SO worth it. $20 homemade sangria gallons..!! Do it, do it, your belly will be most pleased! Love that Spring Hill is hosting this wonderful gem ❣️

Amazing service. You definitely get your money’s worth here. The portion size and the quality of the food is phenomenal! Not to mention the super quick and friendly service. This was my second time coming here and both times were a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be a continuing customer 🙂

The best sandwiches and the best pancakes (not pictured since we didn’t get any this time) in the area. We’ve been coming here since they opened and we have yet to be disappointed with anything we have ordered. We’ve done dine in and take out, both. We cannot recommend Turnpikes enough. Amazing food and generous portions for a fair price.

A perfect hole in the wall restaurant. Super clean, cute diner. The food was delicious and even better was the sangria. Have to give it a try. I would recommend the chicken and waffles with the Sriracha maple syrup it was delicious. I look forward to coming back!

I heard about this place through the Facebook Group ‘Save Hernando County Restaurants’, and have heard nothing but great things about them. The staff was friendly and the food came out super fast and fresh. We ordered the Pretzel bites, bone-in Wings and a Chicken Parm sandwich. The pretzels looked like they were overcooked, but they were absolutely perfect! My wings were delicious, and full of meat. There was hardly any fat or gristle to them, which is a nice change. My only gripe I would say, was that I wish they were a little more crispy/ had more breading. (it was the craving I had). My boyfriend loved the Sandwich. He wishes there was more sauce, but stated it was his favorite Chicken Parm Sandwich so far. The portion sizes were huge, the prices were decent and cheap compared to what you get. We will absolutely be going back!!!!

I finally tried this restaurant, heard a lot about it. I got takeout, a breakfast platter, a Reuben with chips, burger with fries, and pretzel bites. I wasn’t impressed with my breakfast, the bottom of the biscuit was a little burned, the cheese grits were just a little to pasty. The burger ordered wasn’t cooked to medium well, the chips with the reuben were over cooked and the sandwich was very soggy (I know with takeout I would expect a little sogginess due to travel, but this was overly soggy) i know lots of people really enjoy this place and I wanted to as well, just didn’t seem to be a good 1st impression on the food. The cashiers were all very nice at the counter, restaurant is a clean inside and out, not a very large parking area and not sure on if they have additional parking.

Few of my friends have been here in the past year and talked about how great this restaurant is,so I had to try it.First time here today for lunch with my family. Started with fried pickle appetizer.My wife and I had the Ruben and my son had a philly cheese steak on a hoagie and daughter had a BLT ,And my Mom with two eggs and bacon. They all luv’d the food .Portions were big and had to take food home. Think the person serving was Amber and she was great always helping us as need -like extra dressing and napkins,she also refilled our drinks. I also has a strawberry sangria, wife had a Strawberry Mule drink. See attached pictures. I’ll be back *Note my Ruben has additional meat added.
