The burger I had was cooked perfectly. I also had the stuffed jalapeños and they were great! Great drink selection and local beers on tap. Outdoor seating options, and when you are done, there are chairs by the water you can use. Just ask before you head down as you need to switch to a plastic container. No glass off the deck area.

Wanted to love our first time here as we are very local but we came at 8:00pm on a Friday for fish. We waited an hour for our food with no explanation as to why it took so long. We are and was never checked on during our meal. When it was time for the bill we waited another ten minutes. Like I said, I wanted to love this and the food was good but the wait times will prevent us from returning. I felt really bad for the table with really young kids who waited longer than us for their meals.

Beautiful sunny afternoon. Stopped to have a bite. Had the Chicken Tenders and Onion rings. They were very good! Band was playing and we ate outside over looking the lake. Had a good time. Will definately go back!

Fish fry – Old Fashioned – Sunsets! Great Great service and great fish fry! The view of the lake is awesome with chairs on the beach were so relaxing to watch the sun go down. The old fashioned was also sooo good!! We will be back!!!

Definitely we won’t be coming back here for food. Drinks and the view yes! Service great (very nice guy). Food disaster. First of all we were waiting 40 min for kids fries and food which we ordered right after we sat down. Our appetizer arrived before kids food. Sandwich sounded better on the menu than it actually was. Not sure where the sandwich’s slaw got lost? Maybe somewhere on the floor as it was very dirty. It was Sunday afternoon, they were not busy but the place was very dirty. I mean I got it it’s a bar but come on? The high chair we got for our kid we had to wipe down numerous times as everything was sticky. Overall will not recommend the food which is such a disappointment for this place located in the perfect spot. If anything will come for a drink and a view.

We found the place quite by chance. We were looking for someplace to go after hiking in Carver Roehl Park. We found it on the map and are very happy we did. Located on the shore of Turtle Lake it has great outdoor seating overlooking the lake. I had the TL Spicy Chicken sandwich was excellent. My wifevhad the Chicken Quesadilla which was also excellent. We also had a Mai Ti and Tipsy Turtle for drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food is pretty good. Just a warning though, if you plan on coming anytime after 7:30pm, expect to feel rushed out the door. We used to like coming to eat and drink after fishing but we’re going to have to look elsewhere for that time of night.

Overpriced and food quality has gone way down. Most expensive fish fry around and tastes like it came from the freezer. Waited 1.5 hours for food. I keep going back for the awesome view, place has potential but they struggle to blend in in Wisconsin.

Turtle Lake Tap is a true hidden gem right on the lake. The food, libations, and service are nothing short of stellar! When you go, request to see if Elena is working.
