An absolute pleasure in Montclair. Excellent menu and top notch, friendly service. We had the Whole Roasted Sucking Pig family dinner and it was divine. A true masterpiece and expertly prepared with crispy skin and perfectly seasoned and roasted meat. The sides were also excellent. An absolute gem.

Lovely, quaint, yummy and cozy experience! I came on my own and sat at the bar which is adorned with cookbook/cuisine books (color coordination highly appreciated) and fun little knick knacks that were fun to look at. Just beyond that was the kitchen whipping up delights. I re-learned the BYOB thing and at first was disappointed when there was no wine list but then discovered the joy of walking next door to the wine shop and having someone help you pick out a wine to match what you ordered. I walked back over to the restaurant and they provided me with a stand and ice for my bottle of white.

Sensational! I’ve been meaning to try Turtle + the Wolf since moving to the area last year, and it did not disappoint. Funky and elegant atmosphere, unique dishes, and incredibly helpful staff. Perfect spot for a date night!

This was our first visit, my husband brought me for my birthday. I have to say, everything was amazing. We started with the burrata and fried artichoke. Both were AMAZING! Then my husband had the pork belly special (which is one of his favorite meals) so he was in heaven. I had the butternut squash agonolotti and it just pure comfort food. Our server, Candy, was amazing. She was very conscientious about my husbands seafood allergy. I can not wait to go back, there are quite a few other things I would like to try!

Outstanding from start to finish. We went for my boyfriends birthday and were sad when it ended. Started with a dozen oysters. So fresh and delicious. Then beef tartar which is the best I’ve ever had, topped with a raw egg. For our mains we had the farfalle with pork and the Octopus. Both cooked to Perfection. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, they served us the blueberry dessert which was phenomenal. From the staff to the food and the ambiance, this is a 5 star restaurant all day with NYC quality food and experience.
