Our first time at this restaurant, and our last. The bread was so hard that you could not eat it, I tapped it on the board to see how hard it was, another customer laughed because she said her was just as hard. The waiter said, don’t worry I didn’t charge you for it… (I didn’t know they charge for bread) his response to us was the bread must of been sitting on the counter in the kitchen too long the pasta I ordered had way way to many capers and tasted like butter, pasta fagioli had way to many onions and that’s all I tasted. We are from up north, and we no good Italian food living in Brooklyn I would not recommend this place for Italian cuisine.

When I go visit places, I try to find local owned, local created places. Some chains are fine, but a good experience with a home grown place is sublime.

Excellent Valentine’s Day meal. Our server was Melissa, and she was GREAT! Very pleasant personality and she took the time to answer our little girl’s questions and really engage with them. She never acted like they were a bother and made us all feel welcome. A great server makes the biggest difference in a dining experience. Anyways, the food was good and everything came out promptly, especially for it being a holiday. We really enjoyed the bread with pesto butter and fresh coffee. The lasagna was excellent! The Alfredo was a little thin and bland, but was still decent. The pasta e fageoli was very good. My mom enjoyed the Chicken Walker. My wife had Eggplant Rollatini and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would come back for the 5 star service from Melissa.

Went on Wednesday evening, not crowded. Sat at the Bar. The salad and salad dressing was very good. Creamy Garlic dressing I had them add blue cheese crumbles. Butter for the rolls was a pesto butter, very good. I had a creamy chicken pesto pasta. Very good. Hubby had fried pork chop with a rosa sauce and polenta. Both very different than what we normally order. Would go back! Love me some meatballs And the soup was good too!!

We had a presentation and social for our local nonprofit group and used the large banquet room for 55 participants. The staff was outstanding with our group. They accommodated to ensure we were all set with audio/visual. And kept the group well fed and refreshed. Great venue for groups and wonderful food!

Seven of us met for dinner with a 6 pm reservation. I expected the restaurant to be nicer inside – don’t expect fancy decor. I don’t care for Italian food, so my own opinion of the food is not in this review, but I will say – they do not have baked potatoes and the mashed potatoes still have the skin on it. All the other people at the table really liked the food and a wide variety was ordered, including appetizers. Service was great and the waiter was attentive, polite, and helpful with the orders. One thing I REALLY enjoyed was: when I have leftovers I always ask the waiter to box them for us. I think it’s undignified and embarrassing for the customer to have to do this at the table. 99% of the time, they make an excuse why they CAN’T do that – rules, policy, etc. When I asked the waiter(and I ALWAYS ask) if he would box our leftovers, without hesitation, he said, “certainly”. He removed our plates, and returned with the boxed(and wrapped with cellophane) meals. For that, I always leave a larger tip. I would recommend Tuscany Grill.
