First time ever eating here and I loved every item I ordered. Wontons, seaweed egg drop, and black pepper chicken. They took at most 10 – 15 minutes to get everything out. Definitely recommend and I will be returning.

While the Taiwan Kitchen restaurant offers decent Chinese-style food, I was disappointed to discover that they only accept cash or Venmo payments, which could be inconvenient for some customers. Additionally, the portion sizes seemed smaller than what I expected. Overall, the flavors were familiar and comparable to other Chinese takeout places, but nothing particularly stood out to make it a must-visit spot.

Had some really tasty tofu spicy stir fry noodles and the best soy milk. Definitely excited to go back soon and try more!

I went during the restaurant’s soft opening day. There were samples for Taiwanese Pork Potage, Taiwanese fried wonton, tossed noodles, and fried rice. The Taiwanese Pork Potage was very savory and flavorful.

Really great home-made meals. Staff has always been super nice, both the cashiers and the chefs. 10/10 cleanliness and quality. Food is very comforting and delicious. Great spot all around, very grateful for this restaurant, made my last few semesters in college a lot more bearable.

The shop is very aesthetically pleasing and the cashier was very nice. It seems like a family run joint and you could see them cooking the food behind the counter. There are more familiar options but I tried something I’d never had before -the four treasures bento- and found it super tasty, the ingredients tasted really fresh and some of the flavors were like I’d never had before (but good!). It’s a really cute place and I’m excited to eat there again! I recommend it for anyone who would like to try some authentic takeout.

Overall, fantastic food, and very kind staff. My favorites are the bento meals, since they offer a great variety and are always very comforting and delicious. Food is prepared in real time near the front, always fun to watch the skill of the chefs. The whole restaurant has a great ambience, with plants and handwritten menus on the walls. My favorite place in Pittsburgh.
